I want all of them, my fold 3 has been the best phone I've ever used.
All the screen, and it still fits in my pockets
Been loving it since amazon sold it on black friday for only 1k CAD
Justin is my new fave CNET reporter. Honestly he can make connected toasters interesting just with his enthusiasm alone 😂
Your profile image is my reaction.
He's also very annoying.
@@onixotto found the jealous bottom
In my opinion I'm digging the tablet and the foldable laptop that can turn into a one-huge tablet. Those two got me very interested more.
I had no idea how much Samsung is working on with foldables I can't wait for the final products to be released
I've been asking for the Flex S for years. It can be folded into phone, tablet or laptop mode. It must have a stand for laptop mode, though (I can adjust to no tactile input for a keyboard - we adjusted when phones lost foldout keyboards)
I can't wait for these innovations to hit the market!
I can't wait till their affordable lol
Don't be a poor then...😂
@@FoldyFlippy Lol
Give it till 2025 atleast or 2026 to decrease in price
@@FoldyFlippy bro, you make 13 dollars an hour, youre not rich
The one that folds back, you could have 2 instances of COD running and a Bluetooth controller for each player, put it in some sort of stand for eye level view, add each other as a team and play against others.
Samsung is truly innovating displays, first curve screen, first foldable and all, competitors are just innovating software which I reckon is relatively easier, and putting the price tag for that innovation similar to this one, not justified
So the future phones are going to be thicccccccccccker than before? Look at the last one in this clip, it is literally a big mac on the hand….
Those lil things wud snap in 2 right in ur pocket if it wasn’t thick
Huawei has a folding phone that is roughly the thickness of an iPhone when folded
Dude, it's a prototype.
@@HandledToaster2 yeah it does look quite thick but we need to keep in mind that all of these phones are just concepts and part of the reason they aren’t actually sold is because of issues such as the thickness
@octavius8562 they literally said the future. Lol.
Flex G and Flex S was shown last year at CES 2022!!!
When is Samsung going to bring out these triple folds to market?
When they can build it cheap enough and durable enough for the public to use.
The G kind of reminds me of those Tablets they used in Westworld
The Samsung Flex Hybrid tablet is going to be here before you know it. I can see it not having the rolling part though.
The rolling part makes it a hybrid... A device like this in its size that only has the folding part of the "hybrid" is already out: it's the Galaxy Fold series.
@@King0fHero There's been rumors of Samsung releasing a foldable tablet very soon.
I have a Fold4 which is great, but I'm also looking forward to the rollable phones
The folding PC is the one I'll keep my eyes on. I type faster on virtual keyboards anyways.
Fold 4 here works great!
At some point in the near future you'll be able to carry around one device that can be a phone, laptop, and tablet. That will be sweet.
Nah that’s wrong, the future would be inside your eyes/brain, since the tech by Vision Pro is headed that way
And peaple calling a folding device a gimmick y
Hello a bigger screen is not a gimmick its more useful than a boring glass slab
@@jonathanoxlade4252 Any prototype is called gimmicky(whether it truly is or not) at first but in general screens are not gimmicks but the form they take can be. Glasses for example are almost outdated . Blue light ones don't work. Sunglasses do. Prescription ones can be replaced with lasers and AR ones are just a middle step before some kind of on-skin variant like a contact lense or something placed on the skin right near the eye. This is like a 25-50yrs projection imo tho. I'm highly skeptical about internal tech because most human beings aren't comfortable with that(even tho sci-fi stories ignore this natural apprehension).
You have the best eyes…could not stop laughing./..thank you
Imma be real with you, all of those are pointless gimmicks, except for the rollable one - I’d love to be able to unroll an entire tablet out of something I can fit in my pocket, without having to unfold 7 folds
Loved the rollable screen demonstration, oh wait
Samsung already got those
flex G with stylus, i think it will be great to replace nowadays fold
It doesn't make sense why folding devices are so thick, if it fold 2 or up to4 fold its only 1 part that needs the main electronics. So the other 2 to 3 parts is just screen. A screen is about a millimetre thick and add the frame or frames that's 2 or 3 millimetres thick. A device with 3 or 4 folds should be the thickness of a current "gen" 1 fold device. A phone with no fold can house the electronic for multiple folding screen devices, so why are the so thick. It's definitely not for a hinge or battery because a hinge makes no difference to thickness and a battery would only add a couple of millimetres and there not even adding more batterys. Folding phones are unesseraly very very thick.
I have fold 4 it’s very easy to break the screen it’s not worth it
That last one was the thickness of a pricey BLT 😬
Waiting for Samsung Galaxy Z Scroll, where I just scroll the screen out of the tube.

The future of rollables and foldables: "This looks so cool but I'll never buy it because I have no use case for it. Oh, and it's also super overpriced."

@@tituschon369 I have it on pre-order. Waiting on the right colorway that matches my Bugatti Jacob & Co timepiece.
@@Arthur_StJohn I'm sure I'm not the only brokie here you richie!
You exactly sound like people from 2005 when they said touchscreen is just a gimmick no practical use for it, just make users harder to type.
@@dvw. Okay, you're coming from 2035 (AKA the future). Now, tell me what are people doing with folding screens in 2035 that they can't do with a flat screen in 2023?
Meta VR: Hey wanna work in VR
PSVR2: Hey wanna play games in VR
I wonder which people will like more
R.I.P phone cases
I notice no mention of the visible crease. My understanding is this crease will get worse over time. The value of the product will also go down as the crease gets worse.
we just ended up in the future crazy times
Tbh the surface neo feels more practical and probably is more durable than the Flex Note, it’s also thinner based on this video and has a tactile keyboard
Don't let your child play with it. It will become break screen. Because children always want to see devices in abnormal use.
i agree prefer a tactile keyboard myself
It can be replaced by good haptics engine
I'll save this video and come back later, to screenshot every comment that says foldable screen has no practical use📸.
Meanwhile Apple is sleeping.
In the future I will just put on my Apple Glasses and be able to see screens at any sizes.
Your favorite company is way behind. Companies use to wait to see what Apple would create and copy the Apple design and technology. Apple is now the company that wait and see's what Samsung is doing and now piggy back off Samsung innovative technology.
@@GBamaBoy Apple have to incorporate new features into their seamless ecosystem. That takes time, but when it's ready it's better incorporated than anyone else. No need for all that expensive and amateurish screen twists in a future with smart glasses.
Have fun paying $2500.
I wonder if we will see something like the Globals used in Earth: Final Conflict.
I swear I remember folding screen and enews paper in the 90s. Sure took long enough to get here.
The slide mechanism is really interesting.
Samsung is the God of smartphones ❤😂
I've not watched c net for years but I believe it would be a good idea for the guy to keep his hands still while talking.
The coolest is the slide out., I picture in the future our phone will be just a small bar like the size of a pen, it beams up the phone and behind it beams up a case/back stop so that the phone is not see thru. But before that a slide out is great progress.
Cool concepts but the majority of these wouldn’t be practical.
Next generation will enjoy that
price of foldable should be reduced if it want to get to general public.
The laptop thing would need some serious palm rejection to even be usable, everything is cooler on paper
I'll flip and flex for Justin any day ❤️
Samsung, being Samsung and carpet bombing the consumer market and seeing what lands with popularity and discarding the rest.
All we want is a new Sidekick! 😭
The last one it's actually look pretty much alike "C4" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This man is real mouth sales
Been waiting for 16:9 tv's that can stretch out to 21:9!
Now the creative design of phone is comeback to kife like nokia era
All these flexy devices looks very bulky, i can't imagine how it feels to carry them in my pocket
that laptop tab is the best
Flex Note needs to be larger to compete with the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Fold Gen 2 and the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold.
Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Fold & Asus ZenBook 17 Fold is nothing when compare Flex Note.
iPad Pro 12.9 inch (2018/2020/2021/2022) vs Flex Note
@@dharmaandra4720 iPad Pro is too limited.
😂😂😂
FLEX NOTE ULTRA LAPTOP AND FLEX IN-AND-OUT ULTRA PHONE IS COOL ENOUGH.....
Those screen creases make my eye twitch...
Optimized durability, battery life, and weight are at least ten years away from being ready for prime time.
Looks like Samsung is getting back to it old days. Nice.
I've had to ZFlip phone screens fail on me right at the fold. They don't last, one was covered under warranty just barely after 11 months. The other wasn't covered because it fell a couple months out of warranty, which is short. Samsung refuses to help.
where is the notch? where is the island?
I can't deal with the crease. I know, I know, there's no way around it with the substrates used and the necessary folding and wrapping, but I feel like durability would be a factor, and the feel of it isn't like the notch where you'd "get used to it" since you touch the screen. I really like the single slab, and the larger size phones already do what we need them to do. Use an iPad for a larger screen, or a laptop.
Good for you. I prefer using my Zfold4 to my iPad Pro. This is easily the best phone ever made.
You cant see the crease though if you just watch it straight forward, you cant see the crease at all if your watching and using it like a phone and pointing it to your face
Once u have it infront of your face you can't see it at all and I rarely run my fingers over it so I forget it's there
@@SwatBeatsOfficial Same,. since I bought a fold phone, I don't think I'll ever go back to a regular one
@recevicD I can't wait to see what Apple does when they invent a folding iPhone in 2045
I can imagine apple ceo feeling not so happy after watching this video.
They are just waiting for the the tech to get ready and then declare their version as a great innovation. Folding retina perhaps… 😏
@@JohnJohnson-jm8ku I hope Samsung patent this tech.
I can't stand flat keyboards.
I wonder if really young people have that issue.
So much hate on Apple for not relying on gimmicks.
Apple is now left in the dust
I’ve seen the future of screens
Wait, did he just say he doesn't know what the uses of an outside folding device could be? You mean like the Huawei Mate X? I mean. that's just the best of both the Fols's form factor as well as the Mate X. Is he new to tech? That laptop with the dual screen is also not new.
Let me guess, Huawei's and Tecno's tri-fold uses Samsung displays?

I have used Samsung Flex S Three Fold Phone five years ago. Hope the rollable phone will out soon
Dude is SO good! The last good person left working (besides Bridget) at CNET
The Flex Note I'd get for a nice bigggg screen using it as a tablet 😎😎
Screen protector?
Sadly they are very thick and expensive...
How much
Basically a foldable one is the be a flat screen? I don’t see a reason to even think about one🤷🏽♂️
You're delusional if you don't comprehend the purpose of foldable displays like the ones in this video.
Watch the video again and pay attention. 😑
Will the Flex Note be a delivered product in 2023? What is the size of the screens?
0:53 do not touch the DO NOT TOUCH sign 0:53
I would listen to any review that Justin does. Great presentation!
🤦🏿♀ Cringe!
He is easy on the eyes. 😘
Ну и хрень понаделали, эти олед дисплеи вообще нужно запретить из-за негативного воздействия на человека!
Can't wait to unfold my phone to a 70 inch tv
Huawei copied Samsung's tri-fold concept...
Flip 4 owner here. Great technology, but they need to get the hinge and crease right on foldables.
Plastic screen easily gets scratches
My OCD can't get past those creases.
One day even toilet papers will display something...
ok, but who wants a super thick fold G phone?
Flex hybrid is best used for students and I like it also l'll buy it with s pen
We will always have people who push to open a pull door.

Total garbage E-wastes. Backup your data!!
look like a science fiction movie westworld this technology come from the future
All these designs and innovations are my idea
Where are you Apple?
Samsung got the technology but they got the worst designs in the market with their own zfold lineup
hi i know this is for the last yr but i want to buy rolling laptop and tablets ,does really exist or is just an idea ?
I want 27 inch monitor with VESA like a Flex G and 19 inch laptop with separate full size keyboard. Dream setup for programmers digital nomads
Foldable is kinda lame, they should leave that crap alone and focus on retractable bcuz if iphone does it first they're gonna lose damn near everybody, i told my friends who are iUsers that the inly way I'llswitch is if Apple does the iSlide first, before Samsung does the Galaxy Zip or S Slide, ask yourself what would be sexier a Foldable phone or a phone that has a retractable screen
