Perfect car,I bought it in 09/19,130tce,reliable,nice seats,a lot of place in a car and its really cheap.Perfect car,the plastic doesnt matter I eat/smoke in it.Same cars from other modela are double the price!!!
Plus some infos: per 100km only 6.4L,cold start not any problems, the car is perfect for its price,if you dont need shiny plastic which other cars have :)
Glad to read your review. I just bought one, will be delivered in January 2024. Read a lot about the 1.3, its the main reason i get this car, plus my mom had dacia since 2013. Always the 1.6 sCe 115
@antoniobrnadic glad to hear this. These are excellent cars. And the engine is too, they tested it in the Grand Scenic up to 300.000 kms. It is built to last. It does require refular maintenance. But i have yet to find a video about one that has failed. The 1.0L on the other hand is full of problems
Test drive freak, would you recommend this engine? Would you say it's solid over the long term, if maintained properly? I have a Dacia Sandero 1.0 Sce and i am very happy with the engine after 50.000 km in 3 years; very economical too averaging 4,5 l/100l combined. I would be interested in this engine, the 1.3 tce but on the Lodgy... Or other guys here if you have had this engine - any opinions would be appreciated! Cheers
In the sandero this engine is ok, but in a duster it isn't. The 1.3L is made by Daimler, Renault-Nissan, and Mitsubishi. Only issue is the timing chain that can jump, but Renault knows this, so they make sure to check everything in time
The macpherson is the worst suspension (for two movements: traction and steering) they choose it because it takes up little space in the hood, the gas springs and a technique with little experience. If done well, in theory it should overcome the steel springs around the shock absorber (I don't believe it much, the latter benefited from at least 50 years of experience, both in rallies and on the tracks).
I went exactly through the same dilemma:) after tons of reviews and vids, I bought the facelift 130 tce duster (2022). It will be in my hands next week. I test-drived the lpg bi fuel, but although satisfied, I finally chose the more powerful version. Hope it will not drink much cause the lpg’s consumption is out of this world as a bargain in these times. As for plastics, forget about it, it’s manly and simple.
@@YakosIoakim yea I ordered a duster also now I have to wait 6months still debating on engine they said I couldn’t get the lpg because of lack of parts but they said they contact me if they do so hopefully lpg for me. If not I will go for the 1.3/ 130hp
@@MrGatya2 I had to refresh my memory, why the comment....and after reviewing the video, I remembered.
Oh, Duster is good car. We use it for our offroad movies and this car is doing just great!

@@maximdan1136indeed it is. Development was together with Mitsubishi and Daimler Benz
You can have a faster 0-100 if you rev it only to 5000. The torque is in the lower rev ranges
Max torque is at 1600 rpm

Is duster better to stepaway ? As well which engine and better automatic or manual?

Very surprised to see gas struts for the bonnet when even the mk8 Golf doesn't have them!
But every golf has it from mk4 to mk7, on mk8 probably they want to save money

Comfort or Prestige ?
I believe its the Prestige due to the fact it is keyless

2019 models have 150hp
There is 130hp and 150 hp in same engine but different turbo
As a tall driver, I struggle for legroom in this car. I find it uncomfortable to drive.
I wish renault still used their own turbo engine for the duster and not the mercedes one which sounds like shit
