Battle of the Network Stars was a fair bit more low-rent than Circus of the Stars. Like on par with some of current Reality TV. Circus of the Stars at least had the celebs working out and developing their skills
I did watch it but I don't have any big memories of it. If I think back, my best "tv memories" from before we had cable were: V, Manimal, anything David Copperfield, Knight Rider, the yearly Christmas specials, and Wizard of Oz played every year too.
Manimal was a show that for YEARS whenever I brought it up people had no idea what I was talking about, then it suddenly popped up on the Sci-fi channel and I was vindicated 🤣🤣
@@PatBrooks-u6w Lazy. They are literally paid millions to entertain. Once you sell your soul, "dance monkey, dance". If you want integrity, be an accountant. I don't want to hear your politics, morals or environmental views. You are well paid to entertain the masses so shut up and entertain. Maybe, if Kim K was in a hotel with a tiger and not Ray J, the world would be better
i zero remember this. but that's because i never watched CBS, , their progaming was meh.. even their saturday cartoons were uninteresting in comparison = blahblahblah
Totally remember this! We did not have TV guide because it cost too much. We used the Sunday paper to get a schedule sometimes.
Ah yes, somehow I totally forgot the Sunday paper tv schedule 🤣🤣
I remember it, but do you remember "Battle of the Network Stars?" That's the one that I have really clear memories of.
I vaguely remember that one, not sure if I watched it through

V was the shit
In the late 70's it was very cool to see this as bit of community theatre. I had no idea it continued into the 1990s.
2:56 We would've had to wait until the future to watch the accidents online.
🤣🤣
I do remember this show.
I remember it being on but I don't think I ever saw a complete episode. I was working the overnight shift and would be sleeping when this was on.
I preferred Battle of the Network Stars growing up in the 80's.
Now why don't I remember this??😂
I have no idea because we always watched 🤣
Wow, today you can't have a circus without 100 protests! LOL!
Most circuses these days are more ethical and don't get protestors.
Today's stars are too lazy and selfish to risk their necks.
In other words, they're not stupid. If your employer tried to tell you to ride an elephant or perform with a tiger, would you?
@PatBrooks-u6w Sure! How much?

@@PatBrooks-u6w You're right. It's easier to just sleep with them.
