14 years later and their songs still give me chills. This and Shangri-La are my ultimate favorites. I come back to their music from time to time and each time they amaze me even more, I wish the Twelve Girls Band would make a comeback!!
12 musicians are very beautiful women, especially Miss Zhang Shuang-speaking Japan. Some of the best classic song with a very entertaining show. It is amazing
12 Girls Band é simplesmente maravilhosa, não sei o porque de eu não ter descoberto antes, esta Banda. Ouço todos os dias, principalmente no horário do almoço ou do vinho, a noite. Linda, linda, linda. Parabéns ao idealizador desta maravilhosa Banda. Beijos a todas essas garotas incríveis.
I love this band...I don't think anyone can even compare to them. Does anyone know if there are similar bands out there since the 12 Girls Band is no longer making music?
Don't you get it why some of them are crying? It's simple and obvious, they are crying out of happiness and appreciation from the fans and the standing ovation.
@michaelbenyaich That was in 2004, after touring the entire Japan for 35 concerts and they cried at this last show. The respond was good, the tickets of the 35 concerts sold off within 15 minutes in the Internet.
i think the girls were crying cuz they know that they've made it big.....ming pls correct me if i'm wrong, i beleive this was their 2nd tour to japan, 32 shows , and all 32 shows sold out in 10 minutes....i think and as for the girls crying...those are the sensative type ones like me....who can appreciate the best girls band in the world....in the past, now, and in the future....wish V12, graceful 'square' as you put it ming, and the new 12gb all the best
the Japnanese audience is marvelous. If the 12Girls were equally popular in the Chinese-speaking countries, maybe the band would not be dissolved so soon... Just a guess.
An amazing performance from an incredibly talented and gorgeous group of young women. I guess that this was not a traditional Chinese tune, but wherever it comes from the Composer/s and/or Arrangers deserve some acknowledgement also. It was great, something akin to the dance show 'Riverdance'. I found myself expecting to see Michael Flatley and his team of dancers to come bouncing onto the stage during the performance. So perhaps it could be renamed as 'Yellow Riverdance' !
@michaelbenyaich I almost missed one important reason why they cried. The show management secretly arranged all their parents to fly all the way from China to attend this final show.
I think they were tears of joy for being so well received by Japanese people. There is much traditional dislike between Japanese and Chinese people due to past wars. And I think the girls weren't sure how their performance would be received.
