I understand many men have children, so a couple years ago, I had the burden placed on my heart to begin to pray and ask the Lord to give me a heart for my future husband and his child/ren in the same way God the father loved all that choose to believe in Him. So much that He adopted us into His family. I want to be an asset, even to the co parenting situation and not a stumbling block. Parenting alongside another, especially blending families can be challenging, but my prayer is that the word of truth will be our resource and guide to navigate all of life's opportunities. And that we not speak of blended families as a disease in society, but rather men and women who carry His light and heart, can love in the way we've been commanded. Believers must draw a line in every arena to separate our conversations and behaviors from that of this secular world.
