This part ain’t for the weak who feel technical perfection is the only way. This is what skating street is all about. Have fun, be creative. Don’t worry bout opinions. The world is yours.
@@eggshells7514 Technical skating yes it’s cool. Technical perfection, personally not really. Due to the mentality most bring to the table within skate culture, technical perfectionist and critics, even some pros often make up this idea that there’s only one good way to skate. However it’s misunderstood that it’s both a sport and art form. Tricks are meant to be enjoyed, we just tend to judge them a lot being human. Perfection is very subjective. So I rather see someone freely express themselves in video like this rather than the more convenient surface level mainstream (nothing wrong with mainstream). Although watching Tampa Am’s and Dime challenges are always fun🤙
@@xaviers89rs I think it’s crazy to not appreciate robot like perfection considering it’s skating at it’s most difficult form. Having said that, I think some of the dopest clips are when the dude looks like he’s gonna completely eat shit during it. Idk if that makes any sense haha
Anyone hating on this just simply doesn't understand - this type of skating is all about the vibe. Not how technical the tricks are or anything like that. I'd genuinely rather watch this part over 99% of the other stuff coming out today, so.... someone likes it. Haha. Lots of people like it. It's a different style. You can't compare this to the top caliber West Coast skater or something. That's not even what they were going for....
I completely agree. I prefer these videos so much more. The shrimp blunt video was a video that I loved more than any skate video of the last years. It sounds harsh but the Ishod part kinda bored me. His skating is incredible but the videos with music like this one and the older vibe, which is skating for me, are just great and better imo. Hard to explain. Also everyone has their own taste :)
But 'the vibe' is entirely synthetic. It's trying to beg 90s east coast skating, this is nothing new. The trick selection and execution are absolutely stinking.. the fits are mad awful. Dude is a straight 🤡
@@jadedwitness9840 For other skaters trying to act 90s East Coast, yes I agree with the synthetic comment. For SP, he's always skated this way...met him 15 years ago when he was am for Shut, he killed it then and still carries the old head NYC east coast vibe, same as he did then.
@@kaleidoscopex7213 he’s still is, he was in palace third wave video. He had a small part but he’s doing better actually, he’s not the douche he used to be
Is this for the new Braile video? That was like the coolest thing ever. He rode around and ollied some stuff! When he rode off of that curb it was sooooo sick. He also did a NOLLIE HEELFLIP in the street? That ender was banging too bro, trick of the year for sure. You can tell these palace guys aren't trying to be the cool guys or anything by being on these crazy companies, hyping the name and softgoods, then just having whack a$$ footage randomly come out. It is refreshing to see suck high caliber tricks being taken to the streets. Straight gangsta OG bro yall can tell!
I love this dudes whole steez. I feel like if he tried to be a little more technical, that would just level up his whole flow. Cause you know he has more in him.
This part reminds me of when pros would film a whole part in a day. Dude seriously lacks in every department. Creativity, style, trick selection etc. but hey, at least the dude can heckle! His NYC day in the life says enough.
