I have a scenario , I have hundreds of tables in HANA as source with different schemas in each table , while migrating data to azure ADLS using ADF it is converting decimal data type to decimal(38,18) by default . how can I migrate all the tables dynamically with their original datatypes as source using ADF? can you do a demo on this please?
Hi there, I'm new to Azure Data Factory. I have a scenario where we have two sets of tables on different servers, but their schemas are the same. We need to compare both tables, and if the primary columns match, update the status of the destination table to 'Y'. How can I achieve this in ADF? Please post the video.
Hey! I have a requirement where I need to update multiple queries to Oracle SQL from Azure Data Factory. Copy Activity only allows to Insert to Oracle hence I am using a script activity for the same. I am able to update single query into Oracle like - UPDATE Table1 SET Col1='xxxx' where Col2='yyyy'; but when I try to update multiple queries in the script activity like - UPDATE Table1 SET Col1='xxxx' where Col2='yyyy'; UPDATE Table1 SET Col1='xxxx' where Col2='zzzz'; I get an error 'SQL command not ended properly'. I am ending each query with ';', also tried without ';' and tried with BEGIN & END. Nothing seems to work. But the same query works if I run it directly on Oracle SQL. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
All u r videos are very helpful and real time scenarios

Hey!
I have a requirement where I need to update multiple queries to Oracle SQL from Azure Data Factory.
Copy Activity only allows to Insert to Oracle hence I am using a script activity for the same.
I am able to update single query into Oracle like -
UPDATE Table1 SET Col1='xxxx' where Col2='yyyy';
but when I try to update multiple queries in the script activity like -
UPDATE Table1 SET Col1='xxxx' where Col2='yyyy';
UPDATE Table1 SET Col1='xxxx' where Col2='zzzz';
I get an error 'SQL command not ended properly'.
I am ending each query with ';', also tried without ';' and tried with BEGIN & END. Nothing seems to work.
But the same query works if I run it directly on Oracle SQL.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
