oh wow...these came out gorgeous!!! near perfect...you have some real shoemaking skills...couldnt believe that you actually used cork as a filler just like a master bootmaker...nike should be ashamed of the current quality and love put into their shoes! production ones pale in comparison to yours...congrats!

Hi, what was the mustard-looking paste that your spread onto the bottom of the upper? Is that ground up cork? If so, where could I find some? also, did you stitch the sole to the upper, or was the glue a strong enough bond?

You are using "veg-tan", you should of 'edge beveled' and "burnished' the edges for a cleaner look! Nice job thou. I couldnt do that.
It’s a soft tempered kipskin veg tan. It doesn’t bevel or burnish like the most rigid tempered veg tan leather. Plus on a pair of Nikes, it’s more common to have a raw edge.

what's that white lining that you use? I'm trying to make a pair myself and can't seem to have the same structure that your pair does.
It’s a shoe lining material that’s sticky on one side. Unfortunately I don’t know where you can buy it online, I got it at a local shop here on Montreal.
