Honestly I got to agree as well. Maybe a little bit worse cuz He's with cartoon Network. They'll give these shows and they sometimes don't do to other people well except generator Rex
Cartoon Network said the same thing with Steven Universe. They want shows that market to children not young adults. The show might be really popular with adults and some kids might watch it but it doesn’t catch the attention of their target audience. They view their main income thru the branding and potential for said brand to make money. If it doesn’t meet their target audience and or income threshold then they cancel it and find a new show to keep eyes on their network with a constant rotation of new or flashy cartoons or reruns of cartoons that are already successful (teen titans go) or reboots of nostalgic cartoons ( Mickey, Ariel, Spiderman)
Well that and they told them if they kept the lesbian wedding they only get one more season. Sucks but I'm so glad Rebecca Sugar stood her ground for the LGBT+ community
The problem is networks only view shows through streaming anymore. And the mentality of streaming is 2 seasons, that’s all you get because they believe that that’s all that the viewing customers will be willing to watch before they move onto the next thing. Completely forgetting the fact that the owl house was a narratively driven show. Very few of them were really slice of life. They were all narratively driven. You needed to watch every episode in order to understand some of the details. It’s almost like pulling teeth anymore for shows to get a third season. For a while, the problem was these micro seasons, cluster of episodes would all at once and then a big hiatus. Which led to shows becoming disjointed because story arc instead of being given time to breathe, had to rush to start and then complete. This is what happened to star, vs Steven universe.
i swear companies are allergic to money and its so annoying, like so many amazing animated shows are dropped because animation gets 0 respect basically everywhere but Japan
Disney would cancel Bluey if they could
As soon as that one kid mentioned his two moms it would've been over
Too bad they don't actually own it, because it's Australian
What a good idea
Dude its impossible for me to forget this show
Top tier lgbtq hate, nice job Disney you ruined the one show that could make a shit ton of cash 😒
It was because the protagonist is bi
and had a gf🙁
and that her friends were also lgbtq (aside from gus i think)
No whoever the fucking Genius was who thought it’d be a Good idea to cancel the owl house? They need to be fired immediately!!
if Disney says they regret it so much, THEN THEY SHOULD ANNOUNCE IT'S RETURN! they want the revenue and we want the show!
The creator doesn’t want to work with Disney anymore
@@CorinXV not for a while, at least...
@@CorinXV but she still has hope returning to Disney for additional content.
Can’t tell if they’re just as bad or worse than Cartoon Network canceling shows

The owl House gargoyles gigantic Disney likes cancelling all their good ideas
If possible it needs to be brought back, resurrected, I don't care how, it can't just end like this... (The Owl House)
Oh like they can’t just drop all the money to redo the last season right if they reallly regretted it so much.
Just like ducktales 2017
Well, at least they regret their mistake.....
"If you dont remember the owl house" oh we remember alright ToT we should've had a full season 3
Damnit, Disney! TOH was a great show, you should never have cancelled it! I hope you've learned your lesson!
