Nothing shaped me more personally or professionally than being part of this historic program. Rowing at Wisconsin is like no other experience and shapes you in ways you can never imagine. Makes me so proud to finally see this story told and I remember those snowy winter training sessions like it was yesterday! On Wisconsin!

What a beautiful documentary! As a member of the UW Class of 70, and UW Law School 73, I am now long-in-the-tooth. But in viewing this video, and having just finished reading the book "The Red Rose Crew," I have never been prouder of my UW heritage. This feeling is firmly generated in me by the UW women 's rowing program...dedicated women, strong rowers with a fierce determination, willingly facing enduring pain, and embracing the heart and soul of the sport so well shown by the legendary Carie Graves. Red Rose Crew members each of you are! Well done!

Who on earth would say that rowing isn't a "real" sport? That opening got me. Of course it's a real sport. I've tried it a few times - and failed miserably - it takes an unreal amount of endurance / stamina / strength. I was quite terrible at it. Also, I have the upper body strength of a sloth. Great storytelling. Great job!

Wow Bebe Brians I’m so happy I saw this documentary! It is a fabulous fabulous job and I learned so much! I wish I had seen it 5 years back, I would have understood so much more. I saw it on the last race Big 10’s Indianapolis 2023, on the way home.
Bravo to all of you amazing women! And a shout out to my daughter Jackie Garwood, I get it now!!!❤❤❤
