We found the Coral Princess to be a fabulous ship. We loved the Lotus pool as great area to relax. Crew were absolutely amazing so you nailed that. All in all the size of the Coral was spot on
I was on the same cruise and enjoyed everything about the ship. The Bayou was an excellent experience, and I can heartily recommend those spicy prawns and the mussels. I'm back on her for the cruise from Sydney to Brisbane on 8th November. Looking forward to it.
We have sailed on the Coral multiple times. She is our absolute favorite in the Princess Fleet. The #1 favorite item for us is The Sanctuary. We spend all our time there, it is a special cruise experience within the main cruise.
First on Coral soon. First cruise since March 2020 (Sea Princess). First Medallion cruise. First as Elite. So much new! Practice for a longer cruise on Coral next year.
I have sailed aboard the Coral Princess and it was the very best Princess ship I have sailed on. From the staff the room the food the entertainment oh I could just go on. The medallion was so convienent. Coral Princess was SO good😂
Love the open deck on this ship. I miss this on the newer ships that fill every space with cabins or internal dining or cafe areas. I love that walk around and fresh air.
1. The pools and spa warm and clean. 2. The promenade wrap around open deck walk 3. The crew 4. The game and quiz shows run by Sarah and Josh, they are both little fire crackers 5. The bed, although the pillows were way too soft the actual bed was amazing like sleeping on a cloud
Thanks. Great comment. I missed out on the memorial objects in Wheelhouse bar. I did two Coral Princess in Sep and Oct. One 5 days and one 13 days. Crew and food were superb. But night performance can be improved ie dont repeat the same performance twice on same voyage.
Sailed on Coral Princess many times. Great ship...with the International Cafe which some do not have. Plan on doing the world cruise in May 2023 on her.
Leaving tomorrow from California to do the circumnavigation of Australia on her. So excited as this video really made me appreciate the smaller ships. Cheers!!🎉
Our first cruise in 2005 was on the Island Princess from Vancouver to Whittier. Also transited the Panama Canal on it. Love this size of ship instead of the large ones. We especially love the dance floor in the Wheelhouse Bar. Haven't sailed on either the Island or Coral since they were refitted. After having done a total of 57 cruises before Covid, we've not sailed since.
I've noticed on a lot of cruise channels that "apps" are mentioned a lot. What happens if, like me, you don't have a smart phone? I was wondering because I'm going on a Cunard cruise in December. Thanks, Chris.
Thanks! You can of course do a cruise without the add-on restaurants but you’re not really getting the full Princess experience in 2024 without adding on some of the extra restaurants and packages to experience the variety of offerings on board. It’s unfortunate that cruising is more and more going this way, but within the context of the reality we live in these days I felt that this restaurant’s design, theming and menu was worth the list. Hope you enjoy the trip. 32 days is a wonderfully long voyage you’ll definitely know the ship better than I do by the time you disembark.
Was really looking forward to relaxing on the Promenade Deck in those lovely wooden deck chairs. Apparently they are now gone replaced with some ugly sit up straight chairs😭 Love your videos❤
I'm concerned about reports of noise emanating from the aft elevator area starboard side. It's also reported it won't be fixed till after the 2024 world cruise. Did you notice anything Chris?
Yes just came home from cruising the coral princess. I now call it the COVID Princess as there is a always cases on board.. 150 + by the end of our cruise. They ended up being short staffed and staff had to do double or triple jobs. They did a great job while still being able to be chesty. I hope the company rewards them for their hard work. I agree about the staff, all were very friendly and greeted you every time they passed your way. Well except for officers who don’t seem to want to mix with the passengers and the one sour female in guest services. I didn’t know that the promenade deck was wider than others as this was my first big ship cruise. So yes I loved that and it sure got used by many passengers, including me. Much better than being in the fitness centre, but that was nice too. Very modern and well equiped. Restaurant food was great and room service menu although limited was far better than the food court. Coffee though was like mud so glad I brought my own. I was surprised at drink prices and prices of items in the shops. Yes higher as you would expect but not overly and defiantly wait till the last few days of the cruise to buy things as they have decent discounts (but not on everything) and sometimes with free drinks. I will give you a warning though, check you account after every purchase or at least keep a mindful record and check everyday. It seemed to be a habit of mysterious charges popping up our Journey Account. They will fix it but only if you bring it to their attention. Some past passengers have said that trying to get it remedied after you disembark is like getting blood from a stone. The ship was supposed to be refurbished but I can’t see where. Well I will have a guess and say it was replacing the TV to a wall mounted flat screen. Everything else looked aged and who came up with the decor of varying shades of brown. Here is another tip. Deck 12 seems to be the only deck with covered balcony. Was happy to have that as we could sit outside in all weather and not get sunburn. Just don’t pick a cabin under the pool as the chairs get moved around at 5 am an it kept waking me up.

This video really makes me tempted to book on Coral Princess!!
Great ship, great ambience, great food and fabulous staff. One of Princess’s best ships and we have been on most of them.

I'm a few weeks out from my very first cruise and it will be on the Coral Princess. I'm so excited!

So excited just book our world cruise for 2024 on her. Thanks for your information.
Sailed Coral Princess on a Panama Canal cruise in 2018. Loved her
Panama Canal - what a great experience!!
I have sailed aboard the Coral Princess and it was the very best Princess ship I have sailed on. From the staff the room the food the entertainment oh I could just go on. The medallion was so convienent. Coral Princess was SO good😂
Never did know what those things on the funnel was. Also thought this ship was built in Fincantary. Thanks for enlightening me.
The ship is beautiful. I hope I will go on her some day. I like Princess' older ships with conservatory.
Love the open deck on this ship. I miss this on the newer ships that fill every space with cabins or internal dining or cafe areas. I love that walk around and fresh air.
Looks nice 🎉
1. The pools and spa warm and clean.
2. The promenade wrap around open deck walk
3. The crew
4. The game and quiz shows run by Sarah and Josh, they are both little fire crackers
5. The bed, although the pillows were way too soft the actual bed was amazing like sleeping on a cloud
Great list. Youre right those Princess beds are amazing!!
Always thought it was a nice looking ship.

I think the crew really do make the voyage 🛳️🛳️🛳️
I loved the size of the ship. big enough for lots of features while being small and traditional. my cruise was a full Panama transit.
😀
We will head to Alaska again. Princess has been great. We look forward to the smaller ship.

Thanks Chris, your feedback on how attentive the staff were will prompt me to book a cruise.
You’ll love it!!
Did a world cruise on Coral - just fantastic. Love the smaller size of the ship and the wrap around Deck 7.

I went on the Coral Princess as my first cruise
My favourite part is the free food
Is the couch in every cabin with a deck?

Hey Joan. You can do the pre-embarkation info on a desktop and they will help you at the port too ☺️
@@ChrisFrameOfficial Thank you.
Thanks for the 5. We have a 32 day booked here in Oct. I was disappointed, however, that the 2nd item on your list was an extra cost eatery. Tacky.

Loved this ship did the Panama on her. Perfect size the newer ships are just too big
Panama Canal is such a great experience!!
Did a 28 day trip on her recently. Love her to bits.
I'm concerned about reports of noise emanating from the aft elevator area starboard side. It's also reported it won't be fixed till after the 2024 world cruise. Did you notice anything Chris?
I think she looks beautiful inside and out would love to sail on her one day when I get to

Every other review I have read mentions the unreliability of the medallion app.Amazingly you seem not to have experienced this problem
I’ve read those reviews too, however on this voyage for the few days I was aboard it worked for me, without any problems.
