You could also beat Mr. Maybe and The Tax man it’s just as easy as disco, when you beat them you get them as solid teammates to play against Disco. You put Tax Man on Disco and Mr. Maybe on Alkins, and match yourself up against Gru. He’s an inch taller than disco and 16 overalls lower, it makes the method 10x easier. You can also work on playmaking badges if you play pick and roll and throw lobs to Mr. Maybe, it just opens up more probabilities
The real thing u wanna do is complete the challenges that give u accelerated badge progression toward rec career pro am and city u get accelerated progression for winning games for finishing with a A- or better and for beating tough opponents because when u leave here your badges won’t go up as much in the other modes unless u complete the challenges
After reading some comments and going back to try the method again, it appears you don’t need to close app at all! You can just play the same person over and over again regardless. So make sure you do that to make the method even faster :)
You don’t have to restart your game just let all that stuff finish then go back to the board and select him again. His face might be grayed out, but It doesn’t matter.
They not going to patch it.. your gaining points for badges.. but your losing points also on other skills. This method is not very good to keep your badges high. You can target farm the badges you want but youll drop off on others. You have to play full games to keep all your points, like my career ,rec or pro am.
You don’t lose points you only lose points when you fail doing it like if you miss catch and shoots then it goes down it won’t go down if you don’t use it

Pretty sure some of them are 5'9 slashers just make sure you not guarding the boss and if you big then blocking some of the guards should be easy and if they try to shoot it's easy boards. Technically you can keep playing forever too
You know what’s the sad part about doing all of this? When you go play online games and all the badges you grind lose their status so you have to grind them all over again. This badge regression thing is messing everything up. I’m at the point if I make another build, I’m just gonna say screw the badges and just play with the bronzes so I don’t have to worry about this.
