Maam ..please do more examples please maam
Pls upload a video of big m method with maximizing problem
Mam please do a video on revised simplex method
People like you should lead a revolution in education, I payed more than 3 lakhs to college, and yet everytime I come back to people like you. For operations research subject, my whole University students (around 200) students watch only your videos and not a teacher who gets a monthly payment of 1 lakh for nothing. Please join with few people like you and bring some revolution. I would have been happier if my 3 lkh went to you and youtubers who helped through these years. Please🙏🏻
I agree
Can we take -M
Please explain
@@ratbest1140 use -M if we have to do maximization
Can we take +S1 for maximization .
Ya u right real education is given by her without paying 💰 money . We are only spending money for the teachers who have no mean to us only they want money to us and then think go to hell.
The words that u had written in the first slide tell's me that from where u had got the knowledge..
That knowledge from him can make each and everyone understand easily..

Thank you for teaching me a subject I thought I could never understand or be interested in.
Your way of teaching is good, it is far better to attend your video than that of my class.
Really, mam, you are an outstanding teacher. I really enjoyed a lot your all tutorials and got a lot of knowledge just in two days and know I am able to do my exam very easily and comfortably.

Watching your videos... I always remember my school teacher Sr. Flory .... Explaination and voice is completely like her ❤️🙏
Might help you:
instead of remembering each cj-zj condition and each M (sign).
Convert minimum to maximum
Max(w)=-min(z) and apply same step as maximum it will be easy for max and min process both. And you can do maximize
-Use always -M in function with artificial
-Use always Cj-Zj condition as same as simplex.
-Min +ve ratio
Tq for explaining I was confused by this only whether should we convert min to max in big-M or just take min with changed "m" sign and cj-zj
@@elinacooper9627 Can you explain it in detail, pls?

Thank you so much 😊, All the best 👍
Mam, at 10:56 How did u know that 15-13M is the most negative one, without knowing the value of M (for eg. If M =1 none of the Cj-Zj will be negative)
bro check all the coefficient of M in Cj-Zj,you will find -13 is the most negative of all ,that is the main reason she choose it ,this is the rule mainly
M is a very large positive number. That is the assumption we take. So 15-13M is most negative value among them.
Take m=999999999.…...most -ve will be x2

whats the difference between minimization and a maximaztion problem. PLZ reply
(i)For maximization problem, the co-efficient of the artificial variable in the objective function should be minus M (-M ), for minimization should be +M
(ii) for maximization optimal condition is Cj - Zj = 0 or less than zero (-)
for minimization optimal condition is Cj - Zj = zero or positive value. Hope its clear now.
+Kauser Wise Thanks a lot Mam
wat about S? will they remain negative for both maximization and minimization probem in this method
and mam in both case surplus variables are minus(-s1 and -s2)
Kauser Wise yes please what about s?
thank you very much ma'am I just mastered graphical and simplex method in 2 days. thank you very much.
Call you tell me ,how did you take,-(10/3)m+10,as most negative no?.do we take assupmtion for m??... please reply as soon as possible!!
even i'm having same doubt!
For the big-M method, we assume that M tends to infinity.
Mindi Govinda, M is a very large positive number..so -10/3M is a very large negative number.
So that value is the most negative among all
@@cartoon5428 M is a very large positive number. So -10/3M is a very large negative number.
So among those values this is the most negative
for this qn 😍
thanq mam ...I just understood the big M method
Hi, 1 doubt. At approx. 10, you said that the Cj-Zj values are less than 0. But when we take the 1st one, 7-5M, imagining M=1, 7-5*1, 2. This is > 0. Please clarify.
yes if you consider M=1 then both x1 & x2 are +2 value so you can't find key column but when you consider M = 2,3,4,5,6....... then you can.
1st I have same doubt .
M is a huge number, consider is as being +infinity. Therefore following your example: 7-5M = 7-(5*infinity)= -infinity. To assign a huge value to M is the whole point of the Big M method
M is very large positive value bro
m is big
awesome.... taught in a very simple manner. very useful...
Why we put dashes on artificial variables,i dont understand :(
Why first A2 then A1 are gone?
When you have an artificial variable that is leaving out, you just do not need to calculate that column of artificial variable because you do not need it for anything, you can drop out that column (so u will not have to write dashes).
Thank you mam aap ne meri problem dur krdi ye (dusre log lodu minimum ko maximum me change kr rhe the lodu) THANKS
What do I put the value of M as if it's a maximize sum??
Do I put value of M as +M or -M
Also do I need to convert maximize equation to minimise or keep it as it is?
Negative M
Aur u can change it to minimise When u get the Optimal solution i.e Zj just changed The sign
I have seen many sums of minimilization and maximization where each and every time -M is only taken !! Then why mam have considered +M here?
@desioctane
Praise the lord ma'am
Your video helped me a lot thanks
How u consider that Cj-Zj < 0 .... put m =1,0 n u will get Cj-Mj>0....
Well here M is considered to be a very large number. Thus explained.
Thanks for such a nice video you helped me a lot in my or preparation
Mam pleaseeeeeeeeeee upload the Two Phase method...

Thank u mam
I hope this online class is very well and excellent💯👍
We've been taught with zj-cj can anyone tell me is it wrong or not? Cause if it is my teacher has a lot to explain?
No its not wrong bro
But when condition is maximun you select most negative value to find key column vica versa( minimum - positive)
Well explained.. Itz helpful for mech student...
why did u consider the 15-13m is most negitive value tell mi onces
Because M is most positive no.
And if we subtract it than it become most neg no
Give M a very high arbitrary positive value. Like 10, the higher the coeff of M the more negative the overall sum will be.
20-12M isn't -ve
Love the way you describe and its soo clear thank you soo much 💞💝💕
yum*1+yum*2 = 3 yum :D

excellent madam thanks for teaching complex problems in simple
Will I have to convert Min. z to max. z in the beginning ?
yes
yes thats why artificial variable has been introduced to solve the model
no , thats the two phase method .
You can solve the problem in either way.
If you convert min to max then follow all rules of max z like check Zj-Cj>/=0....and then multiply a - ve sign to your final answer.
Or you can proceed through min problem and check Zj-Cj
Big m method is for minimization problem...so if u got maximization problem then only u have to convert it into minimization and proceed further
The best explanation of simplex method 👍👍👍
