I am so intrigued by the entire concept of airbrush makeup that I've watched this 5 times now 😂. It's just such a specialised method. Can you use airbrush makeup in conjunction with regular makeup? So apply a "normal" base but airbrush the blush and highlight?
Yes you can I do it on clients. Sometimes regular foundation applied with brush and then highlighter with Airbrush or the other way, all foundation with airbrush and then powder bronzer and highlight👍🏼
There are also different companies with better quality such as Luminase Air.
I bought the kit and makeup about 25 years ago.lol. I loved it. Going to pull it back out. Kids and life led me to everyday type for convenience. But the makeup quality was great.

Your videos are always informative and technique changing. Thank you! Dior Airflash is the closest I've come to airbrushing. It's definitely my go-to for pictures, makes my skin look phenomenal, and it lasts forever. One day I will treat myself and have my makeup down professionally!
I can't find Dior Airflash anymore! That's why I'm checking out airbrush machines! I'm addicted to the airbrush look!

Thank you for the tips. Can I get a facial same day? Or how long should I wait before make up application. I know the day of I shouldn't use a heavy moisturizer.
Awesome! Airbrushing is so much healthier than all of the heavy liquid makeups and concealer. How can you conceal under eye wrinkles with AB? It is possible. How do you prep the skin prior to AB?
Add concealer before airbrushing; cover dark circles, blemishes or acne. Then use the airbrush to cover any additional areas that need concealing. Remember to use light circular motions to create a natural look all over (4-6 inches from face)
To cover spots after applying concealer hold the airbrush 2-3 inches away from face and flick the handle quickly on and off for targeted application.
Thank you so much for this video! I just received an airbrush kit as a gift and this answers so many of the questions I had. What are tips (I have a water-based foundation) for going in the rain, snow or crying (I have a wedding coming up) Will it stay in place?
Use a silicone based foundation.

The NARS would be too thick to go through the airbrush. It needs to be airbrush formulation.
Hey I have a question please I used the toofaced water based concealers and I have used sb temptu foundation on top ,is this the reason why it looks cakey and looks like it separated?
And please suggest moisturiser for both oily n dry skin boz I’m a makeup artist I’m trying to learn airbrush makeup
Very interesting. Thanks. My questions are. How do you keep the cosmetic from also attaching to hair and eyelashes? Likewise, doesn't the overspray get in the eyes? How wide a spread do you adjust the airbrush nozzle? Can I use the airbrush I use for painting artwork? Finally, can it be used to color or gloss the lips?
1.I pin tissue around the edge of face.
2. Have client close eyes OR of you are applying to yourself close eyes as well. (You are applying in small circles, so having eyes closed won't affect the application).
3. Depends on look and finish that you want
4. I would not mix paint products and makeup products
5. You can use the enhance lips but I suggest a lipstick

Airbrush makeup sets on it's own. It doesn't need a powder to do it. I am an airbrush artist and the only time I would use powder over the top is if the client is extremely oily or the DB formula is just too dewy and something more matt is required.

Just for your knowledge the price you paid for the kit is pretty high for just a little bit extra money you could get a much higher quality compressor airbrush combo. I recommend you if you will ever wanna buy another kit to check out sparmax tc 620x compressor and Iwata eclipse takumi airbrush or harder and Steenbeck evolution with the .45 nozzle needle or the 2 in 1 kit with .28 and .45 nozzle kits for both very fine details 0.28 one and fillings 0.45 one

I skip primer because it makes it hard for the makeup airbrush foundation to stick directly to the skin.

Can we cover dark circles and acne marks with concealer before doing airbrush? Also after applying layer of foundation with airbrush can you apply liquid blush and highlighter on top of it?
Apply concealer first and they apply airbrush. Yes you can apply blush and highlighter BUT lightly and don't move the brush around or it will pick up the airbrush foundation. I wait until airbrush makeup is dry and then go back in with my fingers and a sponge and lightly pat products onto the skin and blend with a light tapping motion.

I only use TEMPTU, I like how it lasts and, more importantly, how it looks. Especially when it comes to editorial and models :)
How do you tell the difference between water based products and silicone based products?

Is airbrush makeup highly preferable for a wedding (I'm getting married in December)? I've noticed celebrity makeup artists don't seem to use airbrush foundation in makeup tutorials which is why I'm wondering. I'm in the process of finding a makeup artist.
It is up to you, both are great options. Airbrushing helps with sweating and tears due to its formulation.

Can you use any kind of makeup in the airbrush?
Yes as long as it's meant for makeup airbrushing machines. I recommend using the products that work with the brand you purchase.
Is concealer applied after all this is done and then set with setting powder? Would the setting powder mess up the airbrush foundation?
There is no need for setting powder, product sets perfectly on its own. Most airbrush makeup has a primer built in.

Yes, I know you have alot of experiences in the makeup department. I don't think I've ever seen anyone do makeup they way you do. Quick and easy... I love it.

Depends on the person's skin type. It can lasts all day with proper application:]

Follow the application process, and you will not create a mess on hair or counters 😀
