Hi, you don't need IT experience to become a Business Analyst. A BA is a role in all sorts of industries. With that said, being aware of what a BA does and then having a basic understanding of ServiceNow would be something you could strive for and then that will help you get a job as a BA.
I'm a Tech BA specializing in ServiceNow (SNOW). For me, I have close to an admin's knowledge in SNOW, which I obtained through an apprenticeship. If you are going to do anything regarding the implementation, or configuration of the platform, I would suggest going through this channel, other SNOW centered channels, and the "Now Learning" site from ServiceNow themselves. I did not have a lot of experience in my current role before starting, but I had the knowledge of the platform that got me the role.
This is more informative and detailed than anything else I’ve found so far. Thank you!
Thank you for the kind words! Don’t forget to check out part 2, if you haven’t already. BAs are the unsung heroes! 😊
Thanks for this impactful video.
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching!
Well done, this is very helpful
Thank you for the kind words! Glad it was helpful to you!
How would one go about becoming a BA with little IT experience?
