토요신명: 명품레퍼토리(나형)-부채춤

ㅇ 부채춤
부채춤은 화려한 모양의 부채를 들고 추는 창작춤이다. 무용가 김백봉이 창작하여 1954년 처음 선보인 이후 지금까지 국내․외 한국춤을 대표하는 춤으로 사랑받고 있다. 부채를 펴거나 접고 돌리면서 꽃잎이 떨리는 모습, 물결치는 모양 등을 다양하게 표현하여 부채의 우아한 선을 멋스럽게 살려내고, 경쾌한 민요반주와 어우러져 생동감 넘치는 화려한 춤사위를 보여준다.

ㅇ Buchaechum
Buchaechum is a contemporary dance where dancers hold fans in both hands and make various formations. Created by Kim Baek-bong in 1954, it has developed into the group dance that it is today. Among the attractions of this dance are: fricative sounds made by folding and opening the fans; arcs made when the fans are opened; curves made by the sleeves of jackets; straight lines of stretched arms; and the fans themselves going round and round. The dancers are dressed in colorful court uniform embroidered with flower figures and wear a flower crown. It is accompanied by cheerful Gyeonggi folk songs, such as “Changbutaryeong.”
