Got goosebumps when Jax walking with the heartbeats. Amazing scene...
These are the scenes that grab at your soul..anyone who has intently watched the show in its entirety understands what I mean..that is a man who has been pushed to the limit. The anger the sadness the need to let it out the frailty of it all....such a damn well put together series 👏 even the very last episode of the very last season went out with a bang. Love tara and everything but how many more signs of violence did she need before she up and decided "maybe this life is too violent for my children and I to be in".
First time I watched this, I'm marveling at the song too, not just the scene. I thought perhaps it was a younger band I had never heard. After the show, I immediately look it up and found it was Richard Thompson. I literally slapped my forehead, going, "Of course! I knew it was a good song, but even the guitar playing had me going!" Simple, but brilliant.
I know that this show can seem a little weak at points now, but watching it live, it was always an event. As Charlie said, a gangster dude once told him “you guys keep the good safe on Tuesday nights”.
