While the original is actually a song, and not house music with samples from the original, like this, I really like the product- though I find it hard to praise God with either version, as only 5 lines of the original is worship to me. *Just my opinion =)

losing the meaning and words of the song. Like the alternative take, but I don't think this glorifies anyone but oneself.
Everyone experiences worship and God different just because it doesn't fit your expectation of worship does not mean that it is any less. Worship isn't restricted to one genre of music.
Certainly right, worship is not restrictive and is based on your own unique relationship with God. If your point it to glorify Him with this rendition I don't fault you at all. I would expect the MESSAGE of the song to be audible and remain prevalent, is my point. Glory to God if you are reaching those who may "feel" His presence with this version.
john Simmons worship is private time between Eloheim and yourself so you can't say dictate how someone worships HIM. This song is definitely 🙏🙌worthy and it's 🔥. You could also use it work out with a group or just self for those who don't listen to world music. Have a blessed day sir.

Genres of music are not in and of themselves evil. Its what we do with them that can be evil.
So no matter what Genre of music is developed, as long as we are using it to point people to Jesus then it's not evil.

it's a great option if people want to listen to christian produced/light of christ filled music for workout, fitness routine and it's just..blessed :)
Pretty sad that the Christian music scene can't do anything original at all but follows the secular music scene....should be the other way around. Not only that but Christian music waits decades before it mimics what the secular is producing(to make sure it's nice and safe)...no wonder we can't get ahead
