    Great video. I'm in your same geographic area. How does the fiberglass hold up over the winter? Also, was the final price a lot more than the original estimate?

      Thanks. This is our first year swimming. We installed it before winter and it was great. The quoted price only changed a bit because we decided to put in more concrete than originally estimated. Other than that it was right on what UtahPoolGuy.com had quoted us. We love the pool!

      We are getting ready to dewinterize this week so I’ll update you after we used it for an entire year. This will be our 2nd winter (although the first we hadn’t used it yet).

    Looks great. We are looking to install the aspen model (14x35)… what are your thoughts on the finish over time with fiberglass? We are either going fiberglass or vinyl, we live in the northeast.

      We’ve only had the pool for less than a year but have loved it thus far.

    Schedule 40 rigid PVC for the plumbing? Looks like it.
    P.S. Great timelapse video!

    Hi there, i love your pool project. I have assign a company of swimming pool builder to install a swimming pool at my lawn. they put concrete on the base but unfortunately the base is too low. Lower than surface. I would like to have your opinion how to raise the base. Is it ok to add in sand or broken stone. Please advise me. Thank you

    Awesome video. May I ask how much this cost?

    • @VID801
      @VID801  3 роки тому +6

      It ranges depending on size and other factors. I would plan on between $50k and $150k for a fiberglass pool install. One factor to consider that changes the price quite a bit is cement - how much you want and where you want it. Hope that helps.

      @@VID801 if that pool cost you 50k -150k you got ripped off badly.... i know for a fact a concrete pool is way more expensive and that size it wouldn't cost that

      @@bull5919 right, and concrete pools are garbage. That's why they are cheaper. constantly doing more maintenance regularly vs fiberglass. I know this because I install pools. Fiberglass is the way to go. yes, its more $$ but in the end its a better product.

      It’s not sand, it’s sand and 3/8 gravel mix. It’s a slurry type mix, the sand helps it flow.
