Just a thought - why would you have one account for serious stuff and creative YT channel? Have two accounts for two purposes and then won’t need to fiddle with these settings
I think a lot of creators have more than one channel. One can be more experimental, or personal, or just a different theme. And the easiest way to do that is to set up multiple channels on your account. None of your channels have to match your Google account identity 🙂
Excuse me, I tried to verify my channel a couple times with the verification code but I didn't get any message on my phone even when I double checked my phone number in verify. Is there any tips on how to solve this? I also can't use the alternative option which is the phone call either so my safe bet is the verification code but no luck... (btw my country is the 'Philippines' which is probably the main reason why the verification code didn't send properly)
UA-cam has some suggestions here: support.google.com/youtube/answer/171664 If you can't use a different phone number all you can do is wait a bit, then try again.

It can take up to a month for UA-cam to review your channel. Occasionally it takes longer than that.

Can you tell me how to create 'ad pods' (i.e. double ads)?
Do you mean two pre roll ads at the beginning of the video? That's done automatically by UA-cam
@@PeggyKTC No. These are ads that are shown at any point during the video, with the distinction being one ad follows straight after the other. I asked YT support about it and they didn't know how to do this but called them 'ad pods'. I have seen certain channels only have double ads through-out their videos, so surely it has to be something that creators can do?

_Back-to-back ads: Also referred to as ad pods, two back-to-back video ads can occur when you turn on skippable or non-skippable ads on your video. This kind of ad format only displays on longer form video content (at least 5 minutes in length) on the platforms mentioned in the table above._
So you have to turn on the in-stream ads, and if your content is long enough, they might show an ad pod. There are more details at the link.

But what if I regret changing my picture and I want it to sync with my Google account again? Because it would be really annoying to keep changing my UA-cam profile after changing my Google profile
You can upload the same picture to UA-cam that you upload to your Google profile. But there is no longer any way to update both at the same time.
Hi - I am a viewer only so far. I changed my picture icon and my viewer name. I am curious if the presenters of the videos I watch and comment on, will still know who I am after I have changed these things.
Hi! If you kept your handle the same, that is the same identifier. Also, on mobile, anyone can tap your icon, and see your previous comments on that channel, even under the old name.

If you are waiting for your application for UA-cam Partner Program to be reviewed, there isn't any way to speed that up. It can take longer than a month. Please see the "Review process" section here: support.google.com/youtube/answer/72851?hl=en
@@PeggyKTC i have also follow ypp guideline. Avoid strike or anything. Sometime i see some people got done reviewed only a few days. Hope can help because i have more tutorial video to upload. And for sure it is the tutorial and the view can increase at the first upload. Still awaiting for review 😞.
