The monet story is beautiful ❤ And the custom ceramic plate is gorgeous I haven’t been overseas since my chronic illnesses were triggered and I’m trying to decide whether to try this year but there’s a lot of fear I’ll just get there and be bed ridden. But hearing about your trip and the lovely memories you have gives me motivation to try
I completely understand, I was about to cancel so many times up to the last minute because I had the same fears. In the end, there was definitely some bed ridden days but also some beautiful days & I think we are so used to live in a liminal space when dealing with chronic illness/chronic pain that we just appreciate 10x more the good days and memories we do get to have. If you do decide to go I am sending so much good vibes & strength that you have a nice trip 💖💖💖💖💖

Wow, what a journey - both in the life sense and the london sense! My obstacles are not as severe as yours but I can totally relate with the chronic pain. Going through this kind of health change is a real wake up call because as you say, it can happen so very fast. It made me realise just how much I took aspects of health for granted. It's easy to know intellectually not to take for granted, but it probably takes that challenge to know it on a real level. I've always loved Monet too, but even more so when I learned that he painted the lilies because he wanted to raise peoples' spirits after the first world war. I really hope your recovery goes quickly and well. I'd love to hear about your mythology decks!
Definitely! I loved this video. Thank you for being vulnerable. I also had my health suddenly change drastically 5 years ago. Ive healed a lot but I still have fear about traveling even if Im feeling good. I have PTSD from my own health issues and Im not 100% better so it's really hard to push myself out of my safe zone sometimes. Its nice to hear other people's experience which I can relate to. :) My illness was actually what turned me towards tarot and it was such a refuge for me. Still is and always will be I figure. I'm really glad you are enjoying it, I'm considering re-reading it so I can be part of this accidental, intercontinental book club ☺ The last two books I read were pretty intense and I could use a good "hug book". Another cosy favourite I read recently is A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking by T. Kingfisher, it's very wholesome and funny, too, I was cackling with delight for most of it haha. (Il y a une pâte à pain vivante qui s'appelle Bob and idk that kind of absurd humour really woks for me! The audiobook narrator is also fantastic and really nailed the Bob scenes 😂). I went to a website to buy the Monsoon tarot, but then I saw that the same creator has made a new deck, the Exile Tarot, and I ended up ordering it instead. Might have to get both, though. :D
I totally backed the Exile tarot on Kickstarter I couldn't help myself haha such beautiful artwork. Did you get the faceless one or the one with faces? I went with the ones with faces in the end as I didn't want it to compete too much with my Monsoon but looking forward to seeing walkthroughs of it when it comes out.

I'm really glad you are enjoying it, I'm considering re-reading it so I can be part of this accidental, intercontinental book club ☺ The last two books I read were pretty intense and I could use a good "hug book". Another cosy favourite I read recently is A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking by T. Kingfisher, it's very wholesome and funny, too, I was cackling with delight for most of it haha. (Il y a une pâte à pain vivante qui s'appelle Bob and idk that kind of absurd humour really woks for me! The audiobook narrator is also fantastic and really nailed the Bob scenes 😂). I went to a website to buy the Monsoon tarot, but then I saw that the same creator has made a new deck, the Exile Tarot, and I ended up ordering it instead. Might have to get both, though. :D
I totally backed the Exile tarot on Kickstarter I couldn't help myself haha such beautiful artwork. Did you get the faceless one or the one with faces? I went with the ones with faces in the end as I didn't want it to compete too much with my Monsoon but looking forward to seeing walkthroughs of it when it comes out.
