- I wanted to take some time to talk about my sneak peak at Hasbro HQ, where I was able to test out the two new Nerf Pro blasters, the Sender, a bullpen flywheel angled talon blaster, and the Torrent, a mag in grip angled talon springer. New 150 FPS blasters, new mags, new half-darts from Nerf?! What a time to be alive.
00:00 Welcome
00:31 The Stryfe X
01:08 Nerfball
01:57 The Sender and the Torrent
03:13 New magazines
04:41 Sender battery
05:44 Surprise feature
06:17 Quick chat on FPS
08:00 The Torrent
10:06 Torrent and slamfire
10:30 Wrap up
10:45 Hard to wait on news
I over heard in another creators Hasbro trip video that the mags will be sold for $10. 1 mag and 15 darts. Compare that to two Stryfe X mags for $10.
Oh cool! I missed that bit! (I’m not a great reporter lol) - honestly from a quality perspective this makes sense. New mags are nicer.
@@maritimefoam It seems fair to me. Compared to a Talon for example it’s a solid deal. I will like the inclusion of 15 darts.
I feel like every blaster company is really bringing thier A game this year! Also Nerf BETTER give us a pro Sledgefire style blaster
I heard that!
The sledgefire but in it's original form without all the zombie strike added parts
@@brickosaurus2276 I want a Pro Roughcut set at 125 FPS for HVZ. 8 barrels or 10. Two stage trigger for single or double shot. Dart storage across the top like the Battle Camo Fire Strike or Dino Attack
@@Andygriff1975 That'd be cool. It's about time we get a pro level smar ar blaster
My favorite aesthetic from Nerf was their Dart Tag line and these look closer to that in terms of shape and I love that
As cool as slamfire is , I prefer being able to deprime the blaster and it’s harder to aim with slamfire
I'm glad competitions exist in the nerf blaster hobby. Never thought I'd see Hasbro try to release very appealing blasters at pretty good price points.
Its good to see Hasbro has seen what the community do and want and given us something that fits in rather than trying to take it in a different direction.
Sure non angle talons would have been nice but for Mag in grip, I can see the need for angled mags.
The stryfe Xpro does look loke it was a way to test the market. 'If we made Pro blasters, would people buy them from us?'
It will be interesting to see how easy the new ones are to mod..
I am so excited for these new blasters! I can't wait to do a review on them! The Sender looks a little weird to me, but Hasbro is giving us half darts and 150FPS out of the box, so I'm not gonna complain too much lol!
I can't wait to open up and mod the Torrent.
This is awesome! Keep going bro
Love the honest feedback on the blasters, Good Job! Can't wait for the Torrent
Same! And hey, great Pinpoint mod!!!!
@@maritimefoam Thanks man!
Excited for the stock attachment points!
Biggest Fanboy of Nerf Brand too

Great video as always. I think they look cool. Definitely a departure from normal Nerf things. Hope you get invited back for the next round of new blasters form Hasbro. Keep up the great work.
Thanks a lot! Appreciate the kind works! I hope so too haha!
At a minimum, this solidifies nightingale mags as the mag-in-grip standard in the mainstream, and that is AWESOME.
The mags in the grip on the torrent are regular angled talons, not the smaller nightingale ones :)
✌🏽😺 The Torrent seems like a great entry level Blaster to get folks into the Hobby. Might pick up a few as gifts when they hit the shelves. Thanks for the Video 🙏🏽👊🏽✌🏽!!!!!!!
Thanks for the extended preview. 2024 is the year of the bullpup blaster and I am here for it! The Nerf Sender and Sprinter, along with the Siren Maulr are the blasters that are getting me excited for this years blasters. Secondarily, it's the Yeethammer by Spyr and Siren's Blink.
The amount of variety we have for affordable pro blasters is bonkers
I agree with that!!!
Excited for the sender and to see what the 3d printing community comes up with.
I wish the Senders price were a little lower, $50 + 8 AA batteries. On top of that, you can't use regular straight talons and Kodas, which is a significant disappointment for me. But I think the blaster are very solid! Basically the only perfect blasters are the community made ones.
I love the look of these things. Hope they make it onto store shelves where I'm at. Though if that doesn't happen I supose I always got the x-shot fury-x to look forward to.
Thanks for making this video. I was curious about your thoughts. This is def the direction I was hoping Nerf would take with a pro line, and I’ll be buying both. I will say though, I do love my Stryfe X and I’ll be buying another before they disappear.
My favourite player is X-Shot, especially the long shot, because the only pro blaster available in the UK! But it doesn't look like they're bringing out approach semi-auto this year, so I'll definitely be picking up a Sender because it's guaranteed to be on shelves in the UK! And such a reasonable price! So much cheaper than what it would cost me to modify my strife, or buy anything from Worxer
This has been a great year for off the self blasters! Between these, the new dartzone nitro stuff, the nexious pro, the siren stuff! Good stuff all around!
You said it!
I'd personally want to see a nerf pro hammershot
Do you know if there's a picatinny rail under the ridiculous priming grip on the torrent? And, do you think the sender can hit 200 fps with (4) 3.7v AA batteries and (4) dummies?
I doubt it since the priming grip wraps around the entire shell and is part of the shell. And I don't think you're going to get an extra 50 FPS overvolting it a bit.
@@maritimefoam thanks.
I'd be really interested to see how it performs on 8 nickel metal hydride cells, should reduce spin-up time even if it takes a slight FPS hit in the process since nickel metal hydride cells have less voltage sag and internal resistance. I love the look of the Springer as well
I’m interested in the Torrent. The Sender also looks great. Hasbro did a good job.
I’m glad Nerf has stepped into this field. Although I’m actually surprised that they go with some of their older designs, like the Rapidstrike. Any idea if they will be available here? Thanks for the video!
Sigh, as always I wouldn’t hold your breath for Canada lol. I hope so eventually!!!!
@@maritimefoam Would be nice just to try One 😂!
What are the rails compatible with? Are they Rival rails? True picatinny? Just decorative?
Wish I’d had some more time with those, I’m not sure if they are rival. Not pic for sure. That’s one thing that’ll need replaced or adapted.
If I had the money I would definitely want to get both of these along with both of DZ's new green blasters, and along with Siren's Maulr and Blink.
I have no complaint to Hasbro ever since they released Nerf pro series with Stryfe X the upgrade version from N strike series. I can’t wait to do a review on my channel. Sender maybe weird but when I fired up to 150 FPS that changed the world forever. And you think yourself two new professional blaster from Nerf Pro “ this changes everything” can’t wait to pre-order and open up both torrent and sender and building up the Nerf pro arsenal. Hopefully next year Nerf better give us a pro rapidstrike X.
Anyone else feel like the names are backwards? The pump action springer is the torrent? Torrent is the name of something that shoots crazy fast. Name the springer the sender instead.
I don’t mind Sender but I did think Torrent was odd! Agree that reversed would be better!
Dear Hasbro,
"Just when I think you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this...
...AND TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!"
I'm just waiting for mattel to decide to come into the nerf space and steamroll everyone with some stupidly well done thing (that still seems somewhat half assed). Like... the MR-800M was just 1% of thier power and it beat any rocket laucher currently in the market.
Do you think it would work with nightingale mags?
Nope, it takes angled talons.
150fps is because it's equal to about 1joul muzzle energy, which is the legal limit for being a toy in the uk, I'm not sure about elsewhere
Oh interesting! It must be higher in the US with the Nexus Pro X hitting 200 FPS ha!
Cool! Couldn't give us Pic rail tho🤔
Ha, forgot to talk about the rails. With they were pic. But, that can be changed.
if a spring becomes available to drop the FPS in it down to HvZ legal levels, im getting one. i'll use worker heavy darts and a scar or bcar if possible and it'll be my new light loadout blaster
I mean I’m sure you’d be able to find something!
@@maritimefoam that's what im thinkin because honestly, this thing as a light infantry primary is almost a no brainer. And while i do wish it had a barrel lug or a nerf rail on the side, given the design, i can see why they opted not to have either one
does this mean rival is dead? :( 1:08
That is about Nerfball the game they invented. Though rival may be nearing end of life, hard to say.
8:55 Hey I love top prime. In some ways I prefer it to pump action.
I can't imagine, but, I KNEW people like you existed haha
@@maritimefoam top prime is great for cqb. I reserve pump action for longer distances
That sucks if Nerfball is dead. I really wanted it to be something. We can't even buy the barricades or stuff to play so what good does looking up the rules do? We can't even play it.
Yeah, you could set something similar up, but yeah. It’s a shame they didn’t do more, seems like a lot of money and effort for those promo videos
Moooooooo
what’s the point in nerf ? just shoot each other with soft darts? lol
I appreciate your thoughts and opinions. I think more half dart blasters are a good thing, no matter who is making them. Personally, I'm more excited about @xfoxgames brushless blasters coming out and the DZ venom, but more options are always good. Take care.
I can see that. I also get excited about blasters I could see buying 10 of and having a great party loadout!
@@maritimefoam oh yeah!!
