Thank you for your advice. I personally tried to get a reference from one of my professors in my last semester. But then I stopped because my university in Yemen, which is a conflict zone, and I am not a Yemeni. A couple of months later, my decision was right. My advice to anyone is to choose wisely and if you can not get one for whatever reason. Try to get it through internships or someone you actually worked for. And if you are curious about why I did study in a place like Yemen, well, I am a refugee, so that was the only place I could get formal education from.
