My p-bass buries the active eq on my five string, if I don't have that thing full boost on the mids and lows, I have to turn my amp up to hear it. I think it might need a tone monster, maybe some bertolinis.
For about 30 years I've had 2 Kramer 6000B's or 5000B's Aluminum neck basses, not quite sure which one they are and I'm ashamed to say that I never learned to play them, I always had a passion for the bass guitar and keyboards, but things in life sometimes take you in different paths, even brought my son a nice bass years ago and don't play either, that all will change, I'm truly hungry to learn how to play, but can you tell me something about my particular instruments, thanks in advance, I'm a subsriber, and I watch and thumbs up all your content, I really appreciate what your doing, keep inspiring !

SHINACACA John Long guess what I got a pre Gibson Tobías and it’s 1 of 400 of the last Basses that Mr Tobías touched before he sold Tobías to Gibson. And guess what, it’s neck through and done in Piano Black it’s the brother of the Tobías that Lisa and her sister of Prince and the Revaluaron fame. I get her tomorrow then she’s coming to the hobo depot to get cleaned up and have her booty slapped SHINACACA

If you want to hear true sound of your bass , record bass direct to audio interface , no amp , no cab , no EQ , no compression ,.
