I think he could potentially thrive as the 10 in a 4-2-3-1, much like the position Ramsey played last season. He has a great work rate, he's faster, trickier, it's only the mental aspects of his game that need to improve, more confidence and he'll start banging them in. Very underrated imo.

Na, his finishing isnt quite there yet, especially when the ball falls to him edge of the area if he was in the 10, the way he plays shows hes a real 21st century academy winger.

Honestly I think he could even play a deep lying midfielder, he puts in the defensive work and hit dribbling and passing ability could be useful in him driving the ball forward for us.

People who criticize him know nothing. Unless you are criticizing him for not scoring goals then that's different. He isnt a winger but does the best he can. I hope he is played in his attacking favorite position so he can influence the game more. And he needs to work in getting the end product side fixed.

Iwobi is like a lion outside of the box, when he gets to show his strength, skills & power.
However, when he gets into the dangerous positions where he needs to make a decision on wether to shoot or pass, he turns into a newborn kitten.
He has the ability, but NEEDS to get better at decision-making and finishing. If he does that, he would be lethal for us.

dude exactly, my problem with Iwobi has always been his decision making. he needs to study vision. i read an interesting article today about whether he should be shifted to central midfield, which never occured to me, but it seems like a great idea based on his strengths. honestly with his work rate could see him as the b2b

Alex Iwobi is underrated.
Leaps and bounds with this kid. He improved immediately under Emery. I'm very excited to watch Iwobi's career. Loads of talent, even playing outside his natural position, once he works on his end game, he'll be one of the best players in the League, of that I have no doubt
Admit it, he's our best winger last season. Right now he just need to work hard and improve his finishing and decision making.
With his dribbling and passing ability, I think Emery must try to put him in no 10 position when pre season.

He got seven assists this season, so he is slowly improving. He's just three assists off from what Wenger wanted, now he has to start scoring more often.

Iwobi has always been an enigma. How do unlock the obvious talent? He moved to cm this season as an 8 and he is thriving. Shout out his crazy drag backs and nutmegs. Alex is also an amazing athlete who can run all day which means he can be moved to the left or right for the last 20 minutes. First name, currently, on the team sheet at Everton. Let’s hope he continues his form.
