    Hey Kenyatta - Great comparison plate rib video. You and your wife’s description make it look & sound soooo good! My wife even suggested we should do a plate beef rib comparison. I wish I could get those in my area & I’m a little gun-shy on mail ordering $$$ meat. I’m already looking forward to seeing your next video. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks Mark…. I’ve had mostly good experiences mail ordering meat. This was my first order with 44 Farms & I’d use them again. I’m still looking for a reliable local butcher that can source a good variety. I’ve found it easier to mail order direct from places like 44 Farms.

      @@BackyardSmokeMasterBBQ Thanks for your response. I may have to bite the bullet regarding mail order for this particular cut of meat. I just need to get past my own short comings of taking meat selection too personally. Those ribs looked incredibly tasty. May God continue to bless you and your family my friend. Luna got so big.

    Loved the video Kenyatta! Howcome you don't take the membrane off and just score it? Looks tasty 😋

      Just lazy lol 😂…. honestly, I think scoring it helps the membrane melt away after 8 hours on the smoker. I think you can achieve the same result either way.

    Hey Kenyatta. Do you have moisture inside your lid dial? 14:58 15:24
    Seems to be condensation inside the dial?

      Hi Raymond… I have seen condensation sometimes but it always clears up. It also happens on my other grills.

    What brand of grill light is on your Summit and how well does it work?

      Thanks Richard, the light is made by Weber. It’s not super bright but it’s good enough & it turns on automatically when opening the lid after you turn it on the first time. My wife got the 🇺🇸 platters at a regional supermarket chain in Northern CA called Winco. They’re really durable!

      My wife said they usually sell themed items like that around different holidays. She bought those platters a few years ago around the 4th of July.

      Kenyatta, how do you like 44 Farms for meat? Particularly the short ribs?

      This was my first time ordering from 44 Farms & the quality of the short ribs was outstanding. I will order from them again. I think smoking a rib plate does make a difference compared to smoking individual ribs that have already been cut.
