But he is. Tom Dwan 15 years ago was one of the best in the world, but the game has evolved, with the rise of GTO and Tom never properly adapting to it, nowadays Tom isnt even top 1000.
Doug is also past his prime as a player, but he would still crush Tom in a HU match.

Doug is a decent player but No where near the level of dwan not even close durrr would smoke him in 70-80% of hands honestly I don't know that I have ever seen Doug do decent in games with some of the better cash game players in poker. Now he does decent on poker night in America and at his poker room and online but live against some of the better players he usually gets smacked or if he does manage to win it's not Alot where as dwan wins huge win he wins.

@@christopherton He went broke early on, read a blog of his that he was really struggling with a cold deck for about a year in the 2010s. He's found income outside of poker though, that's the key. The ones that rely on poker completely can fall on hard times.
