Watching this brings teenage memories of hearing DP with my friends as the albums came out, starting with "In Rock" what an energy packed LP. The music we had in the 70s was the best, seeing the band members with age on them is kind of like looking in a mirror. Old but still Rocking. I worked in a nightclub 78ish, we had a band play that was from Georgia and they gave me a copy of Dixie Dregs LP that was just sold locally, in the college town, Steve Morse fan ever since then. Thanks Shecky & Dave, stay safe... Nostalgia and Music what a combo, Peace...
This is awesome! Thanks to Dave for checking out this DP Cut. Standout guitar track and a classic latterday tune for them...not to mention the snazzy vests! Here's a just released track from the band, Seventh Wonder, "The Light" up tempo, prog rock with some nice vocals and pretty guitar solo for Dave to check: ua-cam.com/video/OmCFMSReKEc/v-deo.html
Really nice reaction mate. According to legend after Mr Blackmore walked in 1994 the remaining members of Purple decided that the band should continue. They each drew up a wish list of their favourite guitarists...and apparently Steve Morse was the top of each list 😊 Yep that is indeed Roger 'Ian' Glover but I feel obligated to point out he's not Purple's original bassist, that honour belongs to Nick Simper who played on DP's first three albums. Also I always thought Frank Zappa was thrown off the stage and injured at the Rainbow Theatre in London...but I could be wrong 🤔
Blackmore quit mid tour in 1993 and Joe Satriani filled in the remaining live dates they asked him to be the regular guitarist but his career was just taken off so that’s how they got Steve Morse
Great song
In my opinion, this wonderful song is being reacted to for the first time and the reaction is wonderful.
Love this song ! it is on my repeat list for years.
Love Deep Purple forever...Ian G the best voice in rock with Mr Plant
Ian is a fabulous singer
And great late Jon Lord on keyboard.

Steve Morris is from my home state of Ohio. Crazy
Try 'Burlesque ' by English band Family - Roger Chapman - my second favourite vocalist of all time!
1) Ian Gillan
2) Roger Chapman
3) Ronnie James Dio
