- Biollante has only been in one Godzilla movie, but the monster has still gone on to gain a popularity amongst kaiju fans for her unique design and backstory, and went on to be an OP character in the 2007 game, Godzilla Unleashed...
But could this kaiju make a return to the Godzilla series? More specifically, the MonsterVerse, if so, what would need to be changed in order to make it fit? Well lets find out, today on DangerVille!

I feel like they should add space Godzilla or Destoroyah for Godzilla vs Kong they’re more intimating for a sequel I think it will be better but biollante can be used for a solo Godzilla film that can work.
I would truly love to see her return, she has one of the most unique monster designs in the Godzilla franchise. And while the odds of her being in the Monsterverse are low it would still be nice to see this titan make some form of appearance whether as a genetic abomination or an already existing species of Titan or plant life.
I think they hinted her in KOTM, when they mentioned a rainforest growing in the Sahara Desert.

Hell, they could go almost the exact route of plant/human/titan dna by having it occure in the same city where Godzilla fought Ghidorah. The amount of radiation caused by that battle and Godzilla going nuke with Mothra’s essence followed by the other titans showing up could’ve caused nature to grow in a different way. There would be dead bodies all over the place to make up for the human dna part being fused but specifically having Millie Bobby Brown’s character’s mom being the main one as she was right there when Godzilla went nuke.
Thing is, the bodies would’ve been vaporized but hey, there is a chance

Honestly, Biollante is WAY easier to implement than even Destroyah. In essence: Destroyah can work - given that we literally saw the Oxygen Destroyer in action - but Biollante is so much easier to implement. Like it was stated in the video, you wouldn't even need to change her origin much, if at all. Of course, my only suggestion would be to make her the largest kaiju in this universe as well. Just as she was back in the day.
Yea but destaroyah can show up next movie now due to the oxygen destroyer being used in the sea which could be simply explained by it altering the crustacean life forms down there 👇. For biollante they would need to introduce a new scene and story but I think they need toho approval
Remember, the Oxygen Destroyer we saw was a prototype. Meaning we need to wait a little longer for the Destroyer of Worlds

*How Biollante will be introduced:* Scientists are going to discover some type of prehistoric plant in the Hallow Earth. Once some crazy science wiz discovers this, they'll want to do tests on it, eventually merging Godzilla's cells with it. Because of this, Biollante eventually gets created, emerging from the Hallow Earth to reek havoc on the citizens above.

Monarch discover a rose-like plant in hollow earth that possesses an outstanding generative/healing factor element. A scientist wanting to create a new medicine using the plant and using Godzilla's DNA for his healing factor. Once she successfully created a serum, her lab get infiltrated by Alan from KOTM and shot her. In a desperate dying state, she injected the untested serum into her bloodstream thinking the serum can heal her fatal wound..and you know how it goes from here.

In 2019, after Ghidorah’s reign, a scientist found a new type of plant that was able to produce a Titan like substance. Using it’s cells, his dead daughter’s cells, and the bones of Dagon (I thought of Dagon because it’s implied that he’s related to Godzilla, so I think it works to establish Biollante as a sister to Godzilla), the scientist tries to bring his daughter back through cloning. While it seemed successful at first, his daughter mutates into a giant rose like kaiju a few days later, killing her father and creating the forest in the subterranean desert. She would be discovered by Monarch, being a unique titan to them, while also seeing how she changes the environment around her. Godzilla would eventually sense her as another of his kind, and when the two meet, they fight out of confusion. The reason I think that this would work for her is because I want to show her as a Titan with human emotions and it could show a different side to Godzilla (one that’s kinda implied in the 2014 film and KOTM)
I hope Biollante does show up in future monsterverse movies.

Storytime: As a child i watched Godzilla movies every sunday and was a big fan of them. One day in school, i was maybe 7 or 8 years old, i had to write a fantasy story and the first thing that came to my mind was Godzilla vs Bilante. I basicaly wrote the movie down and was very proud of it. My favourite scene from the movie were the spear tendrils and how they pierced Godzilla, so i put a little more gore into my story. Asd you can imagine my teacher was a bit confused about my story. All the other kids wrote about Dragons, Knights, Wizards and Spaceships.

I first watched the movie on HBO. I also have the movie on Blu-ray. The movie is also where Miki Saegusa played by Megumi Odaka makes her first appearance in a Godzilla film. She would play Miki in the other Heisei Godzilla films until 1995's Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah.

Crazy thought, what if they use Madison (Mille Bobby Brown) as the child spirit? I think it would be understandable if her dad wanted to preserve her after now losing his entire family. The film would the focus on his grief and letting her go, as Godzilla is the only one able to give her rest.

I could see them using one of the new Titans they've done in the comics, the one that Behemoth almost died.
Sort of combining it with Godzilla, either for experimenting to make their own Titan, sort of like Mechagodzilla, or wanting to what was said in the vid, reverse what humanity has done to forests around the world. Like a super adaptive plant, that can "copy" the plant life wherever it gets planted at.
As a biollante fan, I always thought biollante was underrated by many g fans but hopefully if she ever be added I hope it will bring back her popularity that she started eversince

This is how I would add Biollante to the MonsterVerse:
After the defeat of Monster Zero (King Ghidorah), many of the Titans roamed free on Earth. Humanity thought they were saved and that they could coexist alongside these ancient beings. However, Godzilla's attack on humanity in 2024 would prove otherwise. Some thought Godzilla was an ally, but to him, humanity was nothing.
Scientists thought the Titans were helping the environment, bringing balance to nature, when in reality they were terraforming it, bringing a resurgence of nature that began to overtake humanity and everything they built, leading to a war against the Titans and Project Destroy All Monsters.
Suffice to say, humanity lost, and by 2030, most humans died and others escaped to outer space. The remaining humans fought against all sorts of Titans.
In all these years, Godzilla hasn't made a single appearance, but in his absence, a new ruler began to emerge: a goddess, a mother of all.
Covering abandoned cities with plants, flowers and trees, this Mother Titan, codenamed Titanus Gaia, took over the world as the new ruler of Earth. For the remaining humans, Titanus Gaia vocalized with haunting songs that sounded like whales. Eventually, she called out Godzilla.
Wanting to reclaim his throne, both Godzilla and Gaia, now known as Biollante, engaged in combat for supremacy over the Earth.

I never like it when someone says “it’s to obscure to work” I believe that’s a terrible excuse, look at the guardians of the galaxy no one cared about them until James Gunn made them a household name in 2014, I believe with the right people legendary could make biollante work

I'd make Biollante spawn from the deserted city in the 2014 Godzilla film where joe and ford went to in the beginning. That city is covered in plants and maybe radiation that is stored underneath the city. Maybe create a new origin for the Titan while implementing some of her old origins.

Oh absolutely could Biollante fit in the Monsterverse, though I could be biased. There are so many easy way to write her in too.
The way I would do it would piggyback off of the Sirenjaws. I immediatley thought they were trying for Biollante's look when I first saw the artwork for those creatures. It would be almost trivial to have some scientists messing with the DNA of one and come out with Biollante.

Biollante could absolutely work as a title character, but I definitely think they’re building towards Destroyah, given the presence of the oxygen destroyer.
Biollante’s 2nd death freeing Ericka’s soul explains why Biollante was able to return as a male and more Godzilla-like as SpaceGodzilla! I always figured the 2 monsters were entirely different given their genders, but I feel with the absence of Ericka’s soul the G cells takeover (which was hinted in GvBiollante) and change her to a him.

During the credits for King of the monsters, one of the news articles was titled “Mysterious rainforest blooms in Sahara”. That rainforest has to be Biollante. There is no other way to explain it.
I'm a fan of Biollante. As you said, I think this monster could fit in the monsterverse without any alteration. I think they should give her a chance: Marvel used nearly obscure characters for their movies, so it could work here

Godzilla vs. Biollante was the first godzilla movie I ever owned. I got it on VHS as a Christmas gift from my grandma.
Maybe the dorsal fin that was in Kong axe may have some G-cells and The hole Godzilla made may lead the humans to an plant in the Hollow Earth. That my theory of a possibility of Biollante return.
The problem is that *I don't want Kong involved!* These are Godzilla's enemies. Godzilla's fights! Kong has no place to be involved. Give Kong someone else to face.
Kong deserves his own movie to shine. Don’t need to piggyback on Godzilla. They could create some epic powerful Kaijus for him to fight in hollow earth.

@@doginababyseat5127 Billante has pierced completely through Godzilla. Godzilla has survived a volcano, a planet destroying meteor, been dropped from the atmosphere, and survived a Black Hole. She had Heise Godzilla wrapped up before the G Man got close. Kong has no long ranged attacks and would not even have an opportunity to get close. If Biollante pierced and totally immobilized Godzilla (who has long ranged attacks too), then just imagine what she'd do to Kong.
@@bk7064 Kong can’t beat Toho Biolante for sure. But this will be legendary Biolante. These won’t be the same monsters with the over the top Toho feats. Legendary is more grounded. So I do believe that Kong will be able to hold his own in a fight with a legendary Biolante, but he won’t be crossing over into Toho’s movies and whooping Thier Biolante.
If they did bring her back they don’t need to really change the human soul part of her, because don’t forget Kevin stayed alive after death and he possessed the pilot of mechagodzilla (I forgot the pilots name) so they aren’t afraid of going to the supernatural side of things.

If they made mecha-godzilla work, they can make anything work. They can even make gigan's body chainsaw and hands work too.
I think the talk about humans experimenting on titan dna was instead hinting at Skullcrawlers being cloned.
It would be cool if the Monsterverse Biollante could be spliced with Mrs. Brody's or Vivienne's DNA, giving it her soul.

She's in the PS4 Godzilla game, I have it and it's very fun. ( A little clunky but fun as any other).
And she is a frickin wall, she's not impossible to beat but very difficult and unrelenting.

Biollante, a stationary monster, is no threat to the world. These Titans have gone global. Biollante was a Tokyo-based monster. The Legendary Godzilla has evolved from the Tokyo menace, he's going all around the globe fighting monsters. Also, I scientist making a monster out of his little daughter is too serious for this genre of movie. Biollante is not a Titan. She was created in a modern lab, she's not millions of years old. That would be getting away from the Godzilla canons if Legendary introduced her into the franchise. Also, that Godzilla was still considered somewhat of a villain, and Biollante was almost considered the herione.
Honestly given how far they've pushed the bounds of what people find believable in the monsters as far as they have honestly I think that barely anything at all would need to change just like reasoning stuff like why would someone try making violante and whether or not if by alonte was intentional or not beyond that I bet her originally be the same being a hybrid of Godzilla and a plant I don't know if they keep the human part though but that would be interesting to see how that could play out given that genetic memory thinks the mothra has been introduced to the monsters as well as through Kong

In my opinion Godzilla vs Biollante has the best soundtrack and the best Togo Godzilla roar and the movie just has that 80s/90s anime feeling
I think a cool concept for Biolantte in the MonsterVerse would be this:
During the mass awakening a monarch scientist and his daughter were at one of the seventeen Titans outposts. He ends up surviving but his daughter ends up dying, but her body was able to be recovered. In the five years that Godzilla reigned king, the scientist had been trying to revive her. Using everything that he could, normal electric procedure, and of course plants. Then eventually, he gains the possession of a Godzilla scale was that broken off during the fight with Ghidorah and he uses it to infuse the Godzilla cells into the plant (or rose whatever) and infuses it into her. It ends up working and she gets revived but with a new ability. She has the ability to transform into Biolantte and there are many forms to choose from. There’s an incomplete transformation (Rose form) and the complete transformation (Titan form).

Biolante is also the first thing that came to mind when i read that the next movie is going to the origins. I'd say that they're going to use the combination or separation of kaijus, humans, and something else entirely.
In Godzilla 3 I would introduce Biollante as a failed Monarch experiment that went mad and broke out of the lab. I would also bring in Gigan as a Titan that Monarch tried to weaponize but to similar results to Biollante.
Godzilla VS Biollante has literally ALWAYS and still is my favorite of the Hiesei Godzilla films. I have had this pfp for like 4 years xD

Biollante, King Caesar, Anguirus, Space Godzilla and Gamera are all on my list of monsters I want to see return in the monsterverse. Especially after seeing how amazing they did with Mothra and my boi Rodan.
Honestly, i would adore to see Biollante returned to monsterverse! there is so much lore and background to be discovered. tbh, if they did keep her original backstory, the amazon would be the person place for her to live. if they changed it to being Hollow Earth, she would probably be a LOT larger due to how big it is.

I have an idea on how biollante could be introduced:
After the failure of mechagodzilla, instead of a robot Apex tries out genetic engineering. As they think actually having godzilla's essence in a creature will allow it to rival godzilla. They try to find something to fuse godzilla's cells with, they eventually settle on a neat plant in the hollow earth that grabs prey with its tendrils and sticks them in its mouth. Rather than the intended effect, the resulting creature imprints on her creator. She follows him around everywhere nonstop, trying to protect him. Apex hires professional animal trainers to train biollante to attack on command. This goes horribly wrong, when biollante kills everyone. She starts getting bigger, and bigger, till she reaches a bit under godzilla's size. She gets nuked, but that only makes her bigger and stronger. She proceeds to rampage through the town, until kong smells a familiar smell coming from a hole to the surface world. It smells like that hollow earth plant! He goes to investigate, at the same time godzilla has appeared on the shore. Kong fights biollante, he runs towards her but gets immobilized by her tendrils. She slams him against the ground left right left right, biting his face with her vines. Kong runs away, then jumps on biollante's back, attempting to hold her mouth shut while he beats her to death like a crocodile wrangler. Biollante ends up biting kong's hand and swinging him off her back. Godzilla arrives with kong looking over nervously and backing away, as if he's saying "ooh.. uhh........ oohh don't want to get involved with that. You two duke it out" Biollante sees godzilla as an ally due to them sharing DNA, but godzilla isn't having any of it. Godzilla charges towards biollante as she restrains godzilla with her tendrils. She constricts him with her vines, choking him out, as she unhinges her jaw to try and swallow godzilla whole. She almost succeeds, until kong rushes back in and jumps on her head, beating her head. Biollante releases a pink aroma with an alcoholic effect, dizzying godzilla and kong. She spits her acid in both of their eyes, and then constricts them at the legs, then throws them away. Godzilla and kong stare down biollante, kong runs towards biollante, trying to jump on her. Biollante grabs him midair and smashes him into a building. Godzilla runs towards biollante, biollante spits acid on the floor and trips godzilla up. Biollante picks up godzilla and yeets him towards kong, as she spits acid on both of them. Godzilla gets up and atomic breaths biollante, as biollante shoots her acid. They get in a beam clash and godzilla barely wins, slapping her in the face and then stomping her in that big glowy chest spot. She wails in pain, as she grabs godzilla in her tendrils and tries to put him in her mouth to swallow. Godzilla atomic breaths her down the throat, damaging her greatly. Kong gets back up and punches her, then uppercuts her in the jaw. Godzilla atomc breaths her face, and then kong punches her in the big glowy orange spot. She's weakened, but she throws godzilla into a building, covering him in rubble. Kong keeps fighting her, but is overpowered and thrown away. Godzilla rises from the rubble in thermonuclear mode, as biollante uses her disorienting aroma. Godzilla grabs her jaws and opens them wide, and shoots an inferno atomic breath down her gullet. Biollante explodes into a cloud of spores that float into the sky. Godzilla returns to the sea, kong returns to the hollow earth, as it cuts to a black screen, teasing "Another one??"
What I would do is keep around the genetics part of Biollante and keep the half rose, half Godzilla, half Human Woman and make there be a story around that.
After you started talking about the genetically engineered Titans. It made me realize that is how they could bring Zilla into the monster verse! I mean he was a mutated iguana!

Biollante would be PERFECT. It’s like John Carpenter’s The Thing meets classic Swamp Thing meets Godzilla. Even if she is relatively unknown, the idea is so cool that it would immediately work if done right. I mean, Khan was pretty obscure in the original Star Trek series, but came back as perhaps the most iconic Star Trek villain - so I don’t quite think the obscurity matters imho
I would write in Biollante as its own monster and not cells from Godzilla, a rose and a human. She is also called the Queen of the Hollow Earth.

To put his origins briefly, oxygen destroyer in kotm fuses with a bunch of crabs and makes destoroyah's earlier forms, which Kong and godzilla fight
When destoroyah's final form is introduced, it is during a storm, in which in the distance godzilla and kong (who have teamed up to face the sudden threat) witness destoroyah during a flash of lightning.
Destoroyah attacks and singles off kong, and shockingly kills him. Not only does this pay homage to the death of godzilla's son, it also paints destoroyah as a literal God, making the audience terrified of him.
Then the fight between him and godzilla happens and I don't have any ideas for that lol

Don’t worry. If you know Perfect Chaos from Sonic Adventure, Biollante should at least LOOK familiar.
For the longest time I thought Biollante was Orga. Then someone told me Biollante wasn't Orga, and I got to see Biollante for the first time when I went hunting around for the movie. Honestly I'd love to see Orga in the monster verse just for that awesome splitting mouth moment when he tries to eat Godzilla again LOL.

Imagine Space Godzilla arriving on earth near a Monarch facility or being drawn to it. There they created Biollante but perhaps not from Godzilla DNA, but from Mothra's. Space Godzilla fights the first form, defeats Biollante, later fights Godzilla and defeats him. Only for a team up of Godzilla and Biollante to be victorious later on.
The Mothra part would bring an interesting angle, explain/ expands on the spore/ healing powers of Biollante. Reason for the creation was the sacrifice of Mothra as a guardian of sorts and if Godzilla "feels" the Mothra part, might not be agressive.
I would write Biollante in the monsterverse like
A few years after the Hong Kong war apex is trying to recreate mechagodzilla but something goes wrong in the building creating Biollante. Ut would be confused not knowing what she is. But since having a part of godzilla she would have his sort of mindset wanting control but instead of godzilla keeping balance she would want to reshape the world in her own image.
This would make me incredibly happy if it comes true
Hands one of my favorite Godzilla movies and one of my fav kaiju. I think they should bring more of the og monsters back as well so new ones and Biollante is a pretty big step.
