Hey you had your own tour guide while there in Ancona. All the info he shared about the history of the town and the age of the buildings and arches was very interesting. Glad you had some time to visit different areas in and around Ancona.
My dad would do some masonry work from time to time aside from carpentry. I would tag along and help. Those arches and masonry work in those old buildings are works of art. It is no easy task to get the lines and curves just right and for those to stand the test of time speaks of their artistry and craftsmanship…. Truly amazing to see these
Stefano, gratzi mille, And thank you Mike! I miss Italy, My grandmother is from Santa Maria, della Molise, and I got to visit often. However I think the border changed and it's now Santa Maria della Abruzzo. I could be wrong.
First, Representing TEXAS with the Buckee Hoodie. Note, that marble is old then the states are. I love all the rich history Europe has. Than also glad we didn't have to learn all of it. HA THAT AWESOME.
Great historic architecture. Looks like everything is made out of marble or sandstone. Would love to go to Pompeii and see where Pink Floyd played at the Amphitheatre.
absolutely amazing Mike. Best thing I have watched all year. Best wishes and enjoy your time in Italy. Beautiful Country and amazing people. Best regards from North Wales 2W0IEP 73
When Americans go to Europe and see the wall-to-wall history that is older than the United States, it tends to be a bit of a wake up call. (That was the case for me when I went!) That was really amazing and I hope you enjoyed your visit!
Wow... Old World antiquity mixed in with a New World mega cruise ship building. Amazing stonework! What a shame that graffiti (8:18) has become such a prevalent thing, I just don't get it. Thanks, Mike and Stefano, for the awesome tour.
Mike why didn't you tell me that with all that wind I had uncombed my hair so much?🤣😂🤣😂 It was a pleasure having you with us in Ancona. By the way, the Cathedral up the hill is the highest in elevation in Ancona (not in Europe as there are so many churches everywhere up the mountains).
Mike, I think you're in the closet about APRS. Just come clean, we as the ham radio community will embrace your new transition into APRS...we support you 😂

Italy is without question the most gorgeous place I have visited. There is SO much to see and never enough time to appreciate it all.
Absolutely amazing! Thank you for the tour Mike & Stefano.

It is a shame. Graffiti was absolutely everywhere I went there.

After those 28 hours without sleeping, how many full days have you slept after you arrived in there? 73
Thanks Mike for making this video and Stefano for showing us around. KO4HPC 73
