I feel like maybe some of the badges are for the gymnasium, with the basketball game. Like how it is with tidy textbooks, depending on your scores, you get badges when you get a certain number of goals
I agree with you. If both musical chairs and art class have badges and even tidy textbooks has score badges, why would basketball class have none? Seems a little silly. As someone with programer friends and a bit of programming knowledge, I say that they probably just left the development of basketball class for last since they had no experience with that type of minigame, so the badges were not added until now.

I think one of these badges is either a new school welcome badge (which I doubt) or they are basketball badges
