The YSL intense smells sooo much better on my skin, just warmer, sweeter, I feel like the two don't even smell close that's crazy
On my skin the YSL Libre Intense smells richer and deeper with more vanilla. The original Libre is light and airy with more lavender. Since I live in a colder climate with short summer, the Intense works best for me.

I noticed lately all the "intense" versions of perfume are not intense in terms of longevity/sillage, but they just add more warm notes lile vanilla tonka bean etc.

Well based on your evaluation of the two, I would much rather have more lavender than vanilla. I will confidently be purchasing the original as a blind buy in the near future...thanks.

The original is the best imo too.
I got the YSL Libre in my fragrance haul yesterday and it really does make you feel liberated. I can infer if they ad anything to it will throw the whole idea off.

I love YSL intense. I always get compliments. The other one for some reason doesn’t stay.
They both smell the same on me! I was sad. But love the original so saved me $$$ I guess lol.

I just bought the intense and it’s a beast in the projection and silage compared to the OG for me. I sprayed both arms and I can still smell the intense 7 hours later , whereas the original lasted like 5. Still.... very long lasting scents. But, I need to test them now on my clothes because I have a lotttttt of warm scents and the only reason I would’ve went to the OG is because of more lavender and the difference compared to what I own already. These still smell almost identical to me. I’ll test them out a bit more.
Funny how we all perceive perfumes differently! I thought the original Libre was "meh", and I tried the intense for fun not expecting much, well I fell in love with it! 😍 To me, the tonka is reminiscent of honey in the intense, which I find amazing! I forgot about the dent! 😂
I think a lot of people found the original “meh” lol, I myself found it meh in the beg as well. and a whole lot loved the intense lol. And yes we all perceive it diff lol, diff noses, diff chemistries, diff climates and also psychologically when most people hate one thing everyone decides to hate it as well lmao and vice versa lol
In the right temperature I like both, but the intense is for cold season and the original is better in warm weather. Both is strong and long lasting with a Lovely drydown.
The intense smells wayyyy diff on me. Way more rich and warm...In the first 5 mins it smells like orange juice tho lol

Spoiling us with the consistent uploads ;))))). I love original Libre better as well, more balanced and I prefer a more airy scent than dense. I noticed people that live in warm weather climates like their sweet deep scents and people in cold climates like their airy florals. It''s an interesting observation I made.

Lavender is one of my favorite notes in fragrances so I will definitely stick with the OG libre. I love it so much.

Facts! The Original Libre smells so good! My esthetician had this smell on and I had to get it. I was not sure which one she got but I decided to go with this one and omgosh I am so glad I got this! It last 12 hrs! I am completely shocked about that!

You mentioning the weather in Florida was useful because we have a very similar climate here in Texas.

Its crazy how different perfumes are for everyone- i think the original is just bla ( and I used to work for Ysl) and I find the intense so much more long lasting and leaves a trail.
Hey! Just bought the original Libre 90ml. Seeing different reviews on the intense one, I got sad as I didn’t even get a chance to review the intense one, made me feel maybe I picked the wrong one but your video makes me feel better. I’m from Delhi, India. It gets really hot in here so I guess buying the OG was a better choice! I do hope it ll be quite sexy when I step out in a LBD at night tho.

I got the intense. If it had rose in it instead of lavender, i would luv it. Dont really like lavender at all.
I think the original is more fresh and elegant !! The intense smells good but so many other perfumes smell the same !
They smell 90% the same the 10% difference comes from the intense lasting longer and being slightly better sweeter and warmer. I have both and I use the original libre during the day and the intense at night. There is no need to have both imo.

I think I need to give Libre a chance, they literally advertise it to me everyday and I sing a long to it 😂 I never had a problem with the lavender and to my nose never smelled masculine when people thought it was, but I need to give it a better wear and test it out more

I was originally getting the original libre but when I smelled the intense I couldn’t resist not getting that one. I feel like it’s a little less “masculine” bc of the vanilla
I don’t think the vanilla was amplified as much but I do think the lavender was muted.
I love the comparison of the two, when I had a sniff of the Intense I wanted it to be DEEPER & MORE INTENSE, as you said dash some Amber in, some Patchouli, make it dirty, might layer it with Amber & Patchouli base perfume just to see what it do 😜🤣

while I understand it is a matter of taste, I prefer the classic one for pretty much the same reasons -I live in a hot-all-year-'round city- and the intense is just too aggressive for my everday wearing

Girl I smelled the intense and was like “this smells the same”. I wanted something a little deeper maybe. The darker juice is misleading. I still wouldn’t mind having it tho 😂.

Hello ! The libre intense version is a dupe of Photo by Lagerfeld which is a men fragrance ! My grandpa use to wear it in the 90's !!!

First of all I totally agree I touched on this in the video I posted this morning actually so many people told me to try the intense but I sampled it and it legit smelled the same on me! Second ... I mean you know this is good when you get compliments because I remember you saying compliments aren't common to receive where you live

I notice everyone that lives in the cold prefers the intense (even tho it’s not even that warm and sweet to me) lmao
I live in Florida and use both in the warm weather I wear cologne n perfume throughout the year

That makes us two...i love the OG. the intense gives me a headache just like many other heavy perfumes...angel muse edp, rumba edp.
Have you tried layering them over each other? I am curious what that would smell like.
No as I find that unnecessary lol. one is too soft already so to go with the stronger one.. id just keep the stronger one as it would overpower the soft. And since the dry down is super similar .. I don’t find it’s needed to do so.

If you live in somewhere that’s more hot I def recommended the original. The “intense” I find it more muted and soft.

It's funny, i get more lavender in the intense version. Something about my skin chemistry really brings out the orange blossom and I end up with a sweet white floral perfume. But with the intense version the orange blossom seems toned down, so I get the lavender more.
Just moved to Florida and so appreciate this review. Really need to get a good, sweet, long lasting fragrance. Excited to try it. Thank you 😊
I’d try it out before you buy because neither are as sweet as you probably imagine them to be.
I prefer the Original over the Intense. It’s more interesting imho.
I find it more original as well, I prefer the ride it takes you from opening to dry down.

Like you said, there are better vanilla perfumes.
Yeah since I love the original, I also didn’t find it “improved” I just found it to be modified for those that didn’t like the lavender.. which is my favorite part about it lol
Good think I for the YSL Libra original I’m from southern California it doesn’t get so cold here ! This help me pick the original libra I was trying to find a new perfume something different than viva la juicy . Not to sweet or makes me smell
A lot older that’s how I felt when I smell the intense .
I just got the intense and liked its richness way better than the smell of the libre OG, it was just missing the magic warm feeling the intense gave me.
The YSL libre OG is that boss I haven’t tried the intense yet I was planning on it but don’t think I will I definitely get where you coming from I was with a friend one night soon as I got out the car they smelled me all the way home and they a hour away so I’m sticking with the OG
I’m unimpressed with Libre but I’m hoping it’ll grow on me. I’m going to give it it’s just due by doing a full wear because just spraying it on my hand did absolutely nothing for me.🤦🏾♀️ Very nicely done. I’ll wear Libre tomorrow for work because she was almost on her way out chile!😂

I LOOOVE both the Libre's.....I like the OG better than intense, but it smells really good. The original, in my opinion is pretty safe. It's not heavy or offensive. I do like the intense...

I think the name is french so when you say libre you say it with the throatey sounds instead of rolling the r , but yeah I Wana smell the perfume so bad but here in the UK we are still in a lockdown :( and I can't find any samples online from websites that don't keep crashing my phone
