রিইউনিয়ন পশ্চিম ভারত মহাসাগরে মাদাগাস্কার থেকে প্রায় ৬৪০ কিমি পূর্বে অবস্থিত।
এর পশ্চিমে মাদাগাস্কার, উত্তরে মরিশাস অবস্থিত।
রিইউনিয়নের আয়তন ২৫১১ বর্গ কিলোমিটার । রিইউনিয়ন এর তুলনায় বাংলাদেশ প্রায় ৬০ গুন বড়।
২০২৩ সালের হিসাব অনুযায়ী রিইউনিয়ন এর জনসংখ্যা ৮,৭৩,১০২ জন। জাতিগতভাবে এরা রিইউনিয়নীজ।
