  • On Performance People this week, Georgie is joined by Jason Fox, “Foxy” as he’s known by millions who love his television shows. He’s a tv personality, and adventurer and a former UK special forces and Royal marine commando. 'Foxy' joined the Marines as a 16 year old in 1992 and was medically discharged in 2012 having been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Since leaving the military he has talked openly about his mental health.
This episode explores in detail the journey ‘Foxy’ has been on from a ‘catastrophic’ last day at school to 20 years of service in the SAS to fronting a high profile primetime tv show. He’s open and honest about his eventual acceptance of PTSD and inspirational about how to bounce back from the darkest of places.

Foxy is, and always will be a legend. A high functioning man, in life and stressful environments. He has overcome much adversity, and is a good role model to men. A wise choice for a interview.

Great truth from Mr Fox: Nobody looks cool when they're angry and it's best to pause and check your anger...

Being ex Army this has been a great help to me. As we used to say ‘If you can’t take a joke you shouldn’t have joined!’ , but I still suffer from, thankfully, mild PTSD. ARTE ET MARTE!

Detached. That's not healing. I've been so abused I learnt to detach. It hasn't helped. At the time it did. But I'm fucked up still. Love ya Foxy. ❤
