I love your knitting style especially your purls. That is the smoothest continental style I have ever seen and makes the purls painless. I am watching very closely to get it into my memory. Thanks for the tutorials and I am a subscriber and will recommend your channel to everyone I know.

Thank you for sharing this stitch :)
I do need to say though... It bugs the hell out of me that you just say "knit" when you actually shifts between a regular knit (through the front loop) and a "knit to the back" (knitting through the back loop).
Since you're shifting between those two stitches, I'm thinking this is important. But before I noticed, I really just thought it was a regular knit stitch all the way through...

She knits and purls backwards -- all stitches are knitted through the back loop, and the purls are wrapped opposite to the way I've ever seen it done (up from the bottom vs. over the top). I don't know if that's a regional difference, or if it's just a feature of European knitting (holding the yarn in the left hand instead of the right).
It makes me reluctant to try her stitches, because I don't know how they'll work with knitting the other way -- the only way I've ever seen someone knit. I don't want to waste my time if there's no chance the stitch pattern can come out looking right.

The pattern would look the same! She is holding her yarn continental style & some continental knitters will wrap the yarn under the needle when they purl because it's quicker and easier, which then makes the stitch sit twisted on the needle, so as not to twist it when she knits she must knit it through the back leg! Just knit and purl your stitches like you would for any stockinette pattern.
