Bulgaria. March , summery day arrives in Sunny Beach!

- We look at some first line Sunny Beach hotels having renovations, starting our walk at Dolphin Luxury Beach in the North end of Sunny Beach we then head to the central part of the beach. The covers are coming off some stalls as traders clean and smarten up for the coming tourists, the first traders are now opening as well. Its not long now till the start of May when several of the larger hotels will be opening for guests, the beach smoothed out and stones removed. Cannot wait for the sun loungers to be placed on the sand to mark the start of 2024 summer season here in Bulgaria on the Black Sea.

Changes in main season but late enough 11pm I think . Have not seen timetables for this year yet. A great hotel friends have loved it.

When I watch your SB videos, get confused if you are really locals sometimes 🤣. You explain it with so much knowledge. Браво!! In Sofia it was crazy. Rainy, but also now quite sunny. There was snow in southern Bulgaria and Pernik, but the first storks already migrated!
We live in the village of Kosharitsa, have a house which we have owned two years now so spend much time in Sunny Beach and know many people in the resort who work and own businesses. We have a studio apartment in the resort so makes staying there easy in summer. We have started to see other parts of the country as well , we love Bulgaria. We have seen storks around the village now.

No they are the same all year, often stop for a coffee on flower street for pennies. I think the tourists don't know how good they are.
Your lovely faces have brightened my day again! The north end is not really my cup of tea. I’ve stayed at Ivana Palace and the Hotel Condor - not to be confused with the Condor Bar further down the main road. My favourite part of town is round Kalina Garden or the Iskar. You know, there used to be a couple of live cams, one atop the Kuban and another between the pillars up the Victoria. I used to check them out every day this time of year to watch the progress in preparation of the tourist season. It looks as though both of those cameras are gone now, too bad.
We used to watch the Kuban camera, there is one left overlooking the beach south end I believe. We love the five corners area, great bars, restaurants plus we know more of the owners and staff.. glad the video lifted your spirits, nice to film in the warmth and bright sunshine.

We have shown the iskar a couple of times this year but it's very empty obviously. Towards end of may we will be showing it alive again. It's opposite h c Anderson and we filmed that last year, shows how the area will be.. enjoyable restaurant experience, last August 7 months ago. We will be here all season.

Great complex , across the road from great bars, Susan has her nails done at the salon there.
Is there anywhere local to photograph wildlife. We will be coming over in August for two weeks.
So many amazing places within a few minutes. Take number 4 bus to Kosharitsa. Head out the village to the apartment complex sunset Kosharitsa then your on the green trail up and across the mountains.. Through forest up to the top of the hills. We go up before sunset to see the herds of wild horses. We often see European polecats. There are many hares , rabbits the jackals, wolves and wild boar harder to spot. We have many storks at present.. numerous birds of prey, buzzards etc and if your lucky we do have eagles, we have had one over our house.. it is a national park and your free to roam many logging trails, camp overnight no problem. The many salt lakes along the coast or water behind the resort attract a lot of bird life. We don't have the bears in this area or vultures but most other wildlife other things we have only 6 million people in this country, more open unused land than you can imagine for Europe

Probably the best hotel in sunny beach, especially for food. Filmed it several times this last year, it's really big and central

Not stayed there but it's round the corner to the iglika bar and five corners. Met several staying there who gave good reports of it.
I had been there 2021...Everything was great except sea... Sea wasn't blue like in Montenegro or Greece.... Sea was green and brown like Danube river....
Normally it is a lovely colour here
@@sunnybeachlife5860 No it is not... Water was full of sea grass.... And not salty at all...
Possibly after a storm out out sea. So Susan is in the water most of the year and little seaweed normally.. I think I have 1 video with seaweed last year.
@@sunnybeachlife5860 You need to go to Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and see how Sea need to look like... Sea in Bulgaria is like lake... Except that... Food, people,hotel (sunny day club) city,and prices are great...
@SRBFIT we looked at Croatia, glad you liked it but we like it here.we only video here and do not comment on other places as the world is huge. Enjoy your travels.
