New Song Waiting

Written by me in June 2024 in response to Talent is Timeless challenge to write a song on the theme of ‘Your Songwriting Process’ I hope however young, there may be those, like me, who sing their picture story books. I used to sit at the piano with a book & make up tunes to them! Never linked it to my songwriting process until thinking about writing this song so very many years later!

I found this magical, Monica. The idea of words and tunes as imaginary friends who’ve accompanied you throughout your life is delightful. Your guitar accompaniment and voice are just lovely too.
