Great information Sam, thanks for sharing! The wire harness layout on this engine is a real treat for sure! Dropping these packs is a must when doing heavy engine work and the AWD model is a bit of a painful experience if you are doing them for the first time for sure! Give me a bulk connection GM!

I have an 08 enclave with no crank no start no com amd gas gauge reads E but is full. When key in on position dash lights up perfect then when put to start all dash lights black out headlights go off and nothing until back in on position. Cannot figure it out have replaced starter, alternator, battery, and the engine was jacked up to replace motor mount. Checked all fuse box pins and fuses and relays have been checked and replaced, cleaned up and fixed wires to starter and back grounds.
I'm having a similar issue on a 2012 Enclave and wondering if the repair work I recently had done had an impact on that wiring harness. I had the Water Pump replaced and when I got the vehicle back, the check engine light went on and the car wouldn't start on the first try. The shop check the codes and told me to have a lock smith replace the security key fob. Lock Smith says that wasn't the problem. Take it back to the shop who then tells me it's something on the computer board which is 6 weeks out. I drove it until it finally wouldn't start anymore. The car stalled while driving about 30 mph once during this time. How difficult is it for a layman to figuring out this wiring stuff?
I drive mine for a while then all of a sudden when i start it up it has no juice...i have to play with the battery wiring on the floor and then power comes back eventually....any idea whats the issue sir?...and yes there is something wrong with passenger headlight...i had to wire a ground to the headlight bulb and it worked again...i changed bulb then ballast...then saw the ground issue ...thanks for any feedback.

I just purchased a 2013 Buick Enclave and it is stuck in anti-theft. I took it to the auto electrical shop and they are saying it may be a issue between the BCM or wiring dropping voltage. The last thing that was done to this cat was changed battery cause the old one had a shortage cell and was stinking the car up. Right now it’s not cranking and the anti-theft light stays illuminated. Note this car drove and operated just fine after the battery change but later that night it would not crank. Battery is fully charged and brand new
Did you fix your problem with your theft system on your buick. If not check the smart Junction box for water Intrusion and green crustys . I just worked on one with a few problems and I found that water was getting in through the sunroof and getting in the smart Junction box and I know it controls the theft system
Liked and subscribed. Could this cause the PWR/TRN Relay to click continously around twice per second and still to run, start, crank, or starter click? New fully charged battery, everything else works. Thanks
I have been having issues of interment comm issues on the same year car with the articulating head lights. Also the right headlight does clicker sometimes. I haven't been able to catch it in the act with my scope. Is the headlight module in the headlight assembly itself?
I have a 2008 Buick enclave cx sometimes it won't crank and I play with the switch of and on and it will crank up and sometimes it would crank so I play with the switch
Seems I need an electric guy, got it to start cranking today, definitely bad ground for me it a power issue. I played with the wires behind fuse box and engine.
What a stupid design. I had the same problem. Just did the timing repair. While the right headlight isn't connected you have no start no communication issue.

I need to know if the air bag wires are cut or damaged, WILL IT PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM CRANKING???

A lot of times when the battery is changed and proper procedure is not followed it can damage the bcm.
Did you fix your problem with your theft system on your buick. If not check the smart Junction box for water Intrusion and green crustys .
