Nice CGC order Mike! You did very well IMHO. The Pristine labels look really sharp and of course CGC loves their 8.5s. Every order needs at least a bundle of them! Company policy! 🧐
@@Easternctsportscards I feel like they need something that will push them over the top and start commanding PSA / BGS prices - the pieces are in place, but the market isn't reacting as quickly. I think mostly because collectors are so afraid if they don't buy PSA their collection won't be worth anything. I can't imagine the medicine bottle label and flimsy case is the reason PSA gets top value. CGC's marketing machine needs to kick it up a few notches (it's what PSA did to overtake BGS in the past 10 years). Issue I see is a lot of BGS management is at CGC and BGS was always the worst to react or be forward looking in seeing how to capture market share. We shall see.
@@keithdurand6414 I also agree with this, they have all the pieces in place to make the jump, they just need to execute on it. Appreciate the view and also the thoughts on this.
Probably not going to get the same as you would for a PSA card but I primarily use these guys for stuff that I’m not gonna sell anyway. However, I do think that there should be some resale value to their cards simply because of their accuracy.
i sell csg/cgc, honestly anything under a 10 sales are comparable but a psa 10 is gonna beat out a cgc 10, but it really depends on the card, if its a good card n rare i beat psa comps sometimes but if your grading junk wax or highly transacted cards dont expect psa prices, the more people grade with cgc tho the better comps will get
@@mickey-eq5vw yeah I would agree with this, I tend to usually only send stuff to them I’m going to keep. But as you said the more people use them the better the comps will become
I wish CGC and SGC would be taken more seriously in the resale world. Slabs look sharp and grades are always fair. Good sub.
I completely agree. I’m not sure what it’s gonna take to get them there.

Another Solid Return. Those Prestine Label are awesome looking.
Thanks for washing Dave . Yeah, they are very slick.
Very good order, my friend. Congratulations on the 3 pristines. Those cases are so gorgeous.
Thanks Jayson, I really like CGC. They have grown on me over the last year and the new cases and labels are awesome.
Super fun and diverse order Mike!
Appreciate the view Mike!
Congrats on the pristines , like the black label a lot better than the green .
The Pristines make up for some of the lower grade cards. Congrats on the return.
Thanks man, yeah some I guess I just didn’t look over well enough, I was satisfied overall though
Nice sub - I love CGC, the have the best looking slab, consistent grading and good service.
I agree, very underrated

Great cards Mike!
Thanks Caleb!
That Bomb Squad looks awesome. Are you collecting Mackinnon?
Just here and there, love trying to get some cool parallels of him.
How does CGC stack up to PSA on sales never used them before.

My option is CGC 10 Pristine is the PSA 10 value. CGC 10 Gem Mint is the PSA 9 value. Something like that.
Can I sub with you
