Ahh yes, the cobra II. Fun little car to drive, a fold down backseat. I had a lot of butt cheek prints on the inside ofmy back glass.😂
And then Dorthy woke up from her dream where all the junkyards in OZ were filled with rust bucket cars worth the price of Gold. GOOD LUCK with those prices on that junk. Unless they're shooting for 30-40% of what they're asking.
there freakin nuts on the price of those rust buckets
Divide every price by 2 and you'd be about right.
I know it's an old video, but his cars are way to high price. He can keep them.
10 grand for a 57 Nomad? I’ll take half a dozen.
..he will keep them until he passes away..then the scrap man will buy them from the estate for scrap prices and crush them...
@@WildWestGarage Absolutemente mí hermano!!
That green on green Caddy is the crown jewel in my opinion. What a gorgeous machine!
67 fastback 39chevy 69 fastback
Love the front end on that thing. It wouldn't be my first choice, but those chrome bullet nose pieces are sexy.
Great finds. Thanks to share.
Christ, I’m so old I’m as beautiful rusty as these gems!
He’s out to lunch on his prices. Most of gem need a lot of work!
GO TO CUBA ,55,56,57,58,59 CHEVY ,NO MORE THEN $10,000 RODANDO !!!@
Nice touring and alot of potential cars 🚗
Most of those restoration prices are at least 50% over their true value.
Some day I’ll find a 3rd or 4th gen El Camino that’s restorable and available for less than concours restored prices.
Prices are too high☹️
Amazing
Big dollar auction Ken's personal.collection
Wow I Love Them And No Money
nice video thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
I'll have to agree with a lot of other commentors on here, he is way too high on his prices. You should have told him ''dream on Alice'' and walked away!
..yep, classic example...and when he passes away, his estate will probably sell them to the crusher for scrap.. :(
Something is only worth as much as somebody’s willing to pay. Outrageous prices. If somebody pays $40,000 for that Ford Mustang they’re a fool but hey if they want to pay that, take their money and laugh all the way to the bank!
The oldest junkyard I was ever in was in Spencer Indiana near Decatur ,owned by old man Everett Ruud back in 1987 was full of old Ts and the like of that time.
There are a lot of fine old rides there. Wish I had the funds to be able to purchase one or two.
Got it wouldn't mind owning that 52 Ford pickup
Wish i was there..to purchase and completely restore that mustang fastback..love this video
Glad you enjoyed it
Very very good mobel 👍👍👍👍👍
You supper!
Hello its from Ukraine.
Senk you ! Respekt!
Thanks and welcome
I wonder if we'll have such high regard for todays cars in 50 years time, as we have for these..somehow I think we will..stuff we regard as rubbish now will be most desirable
I don't see anything but prices going up on classic cars. To a lot of the more modern collectors, it's about the investment. On through the years more and more of the original cars will disappear - totalled in accidents, chopped up to customize, or hidden away. Gonna be fewer and fewer of the desirable cars left.
Me gustan las chebrele piko muy interezante
I love chevy'$
Nice cars it's been harder to find cheap complete cars one's it's fixed everybody like them I have 5 incomplete old cars and 3 almost finished to drive and cruise in it they don't look like junk any more
Nice video man saludos amigos desde baja California CCC
Sweet. Let me know if you see something you can’t live without I’ll make it happen
Oye tú qué hablas español o escribe español pregunta cómo cuánto más o menos cuesta un carrito aunque sean incompletos Cuánto cuesta un carro de esos más o menos

correction: 1934 buick,1939 chevy, 1936 plymouth, at 830 is a 1936 plymouth coupe, personally i would go with the 34 buick. too bad they swapped out the straight 8 for the 6. they should have dropped in a 305 instead of the 6..why? my next choice of these is the 57 nomad. at 21:00 you have a 41 ford and a 56 buick
19:32. I could never pull that hemi and separate it from that car. Car needs to be restored with the original engine intact.
Exactly big bill you never separate them ever IRS a matched factory set
19:00...Also, it's not a '58 DeSoto. It's a '55 or '56 Imperial. And yes, you are right. It's a sacrilege to separate a hemi from the original car, unless the original car was a hopeless, hapless, helpless, beat-up rust bucket lost cause.
@@rickwaldren3633 I'm a car guy to the bone. I actually feel a little "Christine" about them. There seems to be a kind of soul there and pulling the motor is akin to ripping out its heart. Ya, I'm that car crazy. God Bless and be safe.
It drove me crazy hearing that he only wanted that '56 Imperial just for its engine. As a fan of old American luxury cars, way too many of them have been junked to donate their engines to another generic muscle car build.
..exactly...people ruin nice original stuff to cobble up stuff....why?...
Awesome amazing 👏
Thanks a lot 😊
That is a 1969 mustang
I never did care for ell cominos
Ford and gm had them just a fad it's not a tuck.or car useless
Cars in Texas are so clean everything up here in NH is rotted to hell. Prices were a little high but I’d gladly pay up for something clean like most of those looked.
That is a 39 chevy not a 38. 39 has it's own body style. And a different grille from 38. 38 and 37 also have the same body style. Only difference between the 37 and the 38 are hoods and the grilles.
And 3 years on there all still sat there 😆
I would say they should be about half the prices that are being quoted😳👍🏻✨
2 years later he probably still has them.
With the economy going downhill as fast as it is and the chaos I wouldn’t be buying anything like old cars to fix up or restore, I’d be spending my money on the basics of survival. It costs too much money to restore these old cars and you never get your money back, that’s why so many guys are going for the patina look. A BIG WASTE OF MONEY!!!!
Those prices yeah I would think he dont want to sell them.
@@minuteman5369 Most of these junkies have an overestimated opinions on the value of their trash. They'd as soon allow the wrecks to rot into the ground because of pure greed.
That's why the video is still up.
@@100texan2 not for everyone. I am a talented mechanic/ painter.
I bought a 67 mustang for $2,500. The doors and quarter panels and rear bumper straight. Good and fenders just hanging not bolted on.
Motor was frozen. One cylinder had a stuck ring. Motor had been completely rebuilt. I honed the cylinder put new rings 289 now runs perfect.
$110 for parts.
Fenders had rust holes. I welded new metal.
$1,600 in paint and sandpaper etc.
My two young daughter's helped with all the grunt work. Chipping off old paint and standing.
Took 1 and half years off and on work. We had fun.
Rear brakes. $80 fix.
Painted the bumpers.
New windshield and dash pad. $400.
2 new rims and 4 tire's. $900.
New carpet.$120.
Labor is the high cost.
Car has a candy blue paint.
Worth at least $20,000. Beautiful car and gaps in hood and body are better than most mustang's I have seen.
So depends if you can do the job yourself.
Savoy nice
OOoooppss missed the S on the WILLY. There is a lot of info online about WILLYS Jeep from WWII on.
Appreciate it but I don’t need the grammar police
THOUSANDS OF DLLS TO GET THEM RUNNING! !!!!!!!!!!!
We know most these cars will be sitting right here. For a long time to come. All of his prices are out of sight.
The black mustang is a 67. The yellow mustang is a 69.
And I'll bet he wants to become a millionaire on each one. Probably didn't pay anything near what he's trying to clip you for them
If you took the few thousand he spent way back and invested it Way back he would have far more than the cars are worth think about that when you buy collectibles thinking 30 yrs from now you will make money you will make far more with just simple long term investments
@Chris Sperling For that rusted crap. I'm guessing you are just as big a theif. Get realistic
@Chris Sperling I do know that you are foolish if you think those rust buckets are something from Barrett Jackson. You are just out to screw people out of as much money as you can
@Chris Sperling I've been in and around the restoration and auto business all my life and learned to spot a theif and you are one
Buen video
If this guys getting anywhere near those prices he's quoting I need to buy up all the similar cars near me for much cheaper and ebay them. Thanks for not calling that 442 a four forty two.
Alot of cars that should have seen the crusher years ago!!! Dreaming on those asking prices, buddy.
How are you able to get a hold of them? Prices a bit steep but like he said it’s a starting point. Great job on the video,. Thx for the info please
I would make him a couple of offers he would take. Everything I want you walk right past , Oldsmobile, Pontiac (?), Chrysler I would take what everyone does not want. Great day and let me know what you think. Great evening to you.
Contact Gary in description.
@@heartoftexasbarnfindsandcl5193 thanks for all your time, work, traveling and exploring. Great day to you my friend and I wish you well for the rest of your week.

Good stuff, I couldn't even afford the yard art
That there's a that there rare y'all seventy thousand dollars (spits chew) that there ol that there rare.
I just happen to live in the heart of Texas 30 minutes east of Waco, Texas where cars don't rust and these guys haven't scratched the surface of what gems are hiding around here.
Thank you sir ,living the dream , I will be trying to find as many as we can.
I know its a year ago , but hurry ! Save them all lol !
That 67 Chrysler probably has a 440 with 915 heads
FOR ME TO PAY 8 THOUSANDS DLLS FOR ONE OF HIS VEHICLES HAS TO BE RUNNING OR 4 THOUSAND AS IS OR LOWER !!!!!!!!!!!!
I understand people are crazy about some of their prices but their prices are what they are.
How much you want for that half burried turd with no usable parts..
Oh I think he wants $167,000 for it
But he will talk
Love the content, but the camera work makes me sea sick.
Hey people look on e bay these cars are less than 1/2 of these numbers running .
Don't know what the prices are like in Texas but seemed a bit high to me
Alot of money 💸💸 to fix them up
Good luck
Thanks. ya, Some are Pricy.
I am interested in the light blue 1957 Nomad on this video, is it still available? If so are there any details like is it restorable, is there a motor and transmission in it? Chassis condition?
Think he said 10k, cant rem. Not sure on cond. Contact Garry in description
the chev is 1939 not 38
The Mustang is a 67 with a 68 grille
Good eye. Didn’t notice 👍
Mustang fastback is 1967
..25:48..1948-52 Ford trucks..don't see anything newer than a '52 here in this row..different body style in '53...
The Ford he said was a 1939 was actually a 1941 Ford
..3:22..1969 Mustang fastback, not a '70...
Some of the year /models guesses were a bit out.
that's a '39 chevy, not a '38 @ 2:07
Cars have papers
Some do
Went to a wrecking yard. Saw a 350 4 bolt sitting on core pile. I said how much ? $100. I said its worth $20 in scrap metal prices I'll give yah $40. Nope. It got hauled away as scrap. Is that a good business practice ?
Lol, Not really..
There was a row of '69-71 Chevy pickups they totally skipped??!
..yes, I agree..I have a '70 C-20, work truck, still works..but it is totally rusted out, cab and bed, needs a better cab and bed, or just another '69-'72 replacement truck run under it..love that truck..it drives me nuts to see all these intact trucks with body/bed in WAY better shape than mine sitting around in these yards on all these UA-cam videos, I could so use the truck or the parts..BUT..they are always hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands, of miles away from me..and there are absolutely ZERO trucks or parts trucks around here anymore..the few that are still around are either: like mine, unrestored driving around, not for sale,:..fully restored, and they want a mint for them: , cobbled up and rough, but driveable, and they want a mint for them, : stored outside a garage or body shop waiting to be fixed, either not for sale, or they want a mint for them...or sitting in someone's yard or field, rusting away, not for sale, "going to fix them up someday"...even the few junkyards that are still around don't have any '67-'72 Chevy trucks..not even long bed or 3/4 ton models like mine..and when I try the bigger yards that are closer to places like Atlanta, it's all late-model stuff they have...
I have never seen so many car guys have such a hard time opening hoods. :)
He literally called a 69 a 70, what do you expect
..25:11..that's a 1958 Ford truck, not a '59...assuming that it has the original hood and grill on it...
39 Chevy.
And the vultchures will be there guaranteed maybe a fight
Ild mustang's do that
XR2 or Cobra 2 sold to me. LoL
Do u have any parts for a 2 door 1951 Plymouth Cambridge
By any chance do u have some parts for a 2 door 1951 Plymouth Cambridge
Not that I know of
That ford coupé y’all was calling a 39, was a 41... no running boards and no split rear window.. $3-5k is a good price.
..yep, I missed that one...
Need contact info for the 57 nomad
SCRAP UM
..30:15..not a '67 if the grill is correct..grill says it's a '68 or '69...
Screw that stupid overpriced Falcon./Mustang. What about the cool 1964 Dynamic 88???
The old car hobby sucks nowadays

Can anyone tell me how you can get rid of surface rust like these cars have? Meaning get rid of it so that it does not come back..thank you in advance
CLR works ok. To clean. Clearcoat it afterwards , or if it’s bare metal can be sealed to not flash rust with different products that are based like zinc etching. Or Gem Rust
The only stuff that really works is the stuff the Marina Boat yards use .... more expensive but , it really works ... usually takes 2 coats .... then prime and paint .... even works inside the doors .... In the doors , better to use undercoat after using the Rust Remover ...

The one you called a 39 Ford that is not a 39 Ford couldn't quite see the grill it's either a 41 or a 42, or a 46 to 48 Ford not a 39
..32:22..that's definitely not a '67 Ford truck..had reflectors on the hood emblems..'67's didn't have them..Nice tour, but it's very clear that, for somebody who collects/hoards/sells old cars and trucks, this guy knows very little about them...unusual, really, because most people I know who has this kind of stuff knows exactly what they have...
Wasn't Gary's yard. Ken was gone that day.. But ya.
Restaurem essa Willys.
..30:44..'60 Ford truck, not a '58..the one at 25:11 that he called a '59 is a '58...
