I learned to kick from Philip and jhoon rhee Philip has a devastating hook kick with so mich power he is incredible one of the best kickers in film history i love seeing love for my master
THE RHEE BROTHERS HAVE BEEN IN SOME OF THE BEST MARTIAL ARTS MOVIES EVER MADE!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BEST OF THE BEST ARE JUST A FEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NUFF RESPECT TO THE RHEE BROTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ever since I saw Best of the Best when I was a kid, I had always dreamed of training under Masters Phillip and Simon Rhee. I'm glad you had this incredible opportunity!
Oh man!! I remember watching these guys thinking those are some badass fighters! Great to see after all these years they still are!!! Tommy and Dae Han. When I was a kid it meant so much that they were actually brothers in real life. I am crying like E Rob did 😂🤣😂💖
Because of them in 1990..i deciced training TEKWONDO...thnk u master rhee MY VISUAL SABEUM NIM...best of the best movied its all the beginning of my life...looong lifee taekwoooondo💪
I'm watching botb2 right now! It's my favourite of all 3. You guys are the definition of use it til you lose it. I'm 37 and starting to feel little aches and pains. Massive respect to you.
Seriously speaking when I discovered on UA-cam that Master Philip Rhee is in the category of underrated and forgotten martial artists I was shocked and appalled by this. Both he and his brother Master Simon Rhee are still until now my inspiration to improve on my own TaeKwonDo especially watching their Best of the Best and they truly embody what TaeKwonDo is. And no matter what people say and think I truly enjoy both Best of the Best 1 and 2.
I was training in Tae Kwon Do when the 1st Best of the Best was released and I was completely blown away by the performances of Philip and Simon Rhee-it inspired me to train like never before. The Rhee brothers had some of the Best on Screen fight performances ever on screen. You cannot fake that kind of skill level!
He was also in Lethal Weapon 4...he was the henchman that Riggs yanked out of the Mercedes during the car chase...then they have the little get together in the moving building where he eventually gets an up close view of a bus. I wasn't sure if it was him at first, but I thought he looked familiar...then I saw his name in the end credits.
Im a purple belt in bjj and I'm here to read stupid comments about how they won't last in the octagon or stupid shit like that . These guys are seriously skilled
I watched best of the best in the only movie theatre in london that was showing it. 16 years old and blown away at the time!! Bought the dvd to show my unborn son decades later if I couldn’t find it!? 🤷🏼♂️
@@hamzadesidragonsarwar no..combat taekwondo also focuses on punches as well as on lacking but because of the wtf wherin it focuses on sports they just introduce the no punching and lacking rule..
I am just a brown belt in combat tkd but in our training its not just focuse on kickings but also on lacking and punching..thats why everytime we encounter a sport base rule in ou sparring from different club of tkd we are always disqualified because our training is not for sport but for a real combat. A combat taekwondo has almost no different from a shotokan karate or krag maga
Hamza Sarwar I am with you, i practice ITF taekwondo, an traditional taekwondo punches are not like that what we saw was a mix of tkd and boxing, if you see poomsaes or kata whatever, you see diverse tipes of punches but they dont look like that.
I know im going to get chewed out by other people's favorite martial artists but i must say it. I think Simon Rhee has the best kicks of all martial artists ever.
As an 11 year old, “best of the best” was one of my favorite movies and I remember the Rhee brothers as Tommy and Dae Han and that final scene where Tommy sacrificed USA team victory to prevent the fatal blow . Also, as a fan of gamology, I’ve come familiar with how excellent of a martial artist Noah is. 👍🏾
Heeeyy! It's Dae Han and Tommy Lee! That's SO cool!! Time for a Best of the Best reboot! Fingers crossed!
yes i wish

That'll be awesome as a true sequel to the first one, where Tommy and Dae Han coach a new team
You mean a ‘rhee boot!’
Simon and Phillip are true inspiration, true spirit of Taekwondo 🥋🥋
Plus Hapkido
Agreed.
The Best of the Best 😊
They would get beat by any level mma fighter 😂😂😂😂😂
Training with those two masters it has to
be an honor.
Agreed.
Why Noah always look down after kicking sequence, it's good way to get knocked out. Never take eyes off opponent
Simon Rhee wearing his Dae Han eye patch would make this even more epic

My uncle wore the original Safe-t-kick gear back in the day while practicing karate in Houston. Great gear for training.
Ahhhh AWMA I use to shop there all the time during my peak training...gotta giiiit my butt back in gear! Best of the Best!
Yeahh man how cool was this? Very cool clip and presentation of Martial-Arts!

What I would do to be there with those legends. Soooooo much knowledge in that room!
Que chingón ver a los hermanos Rhee, que grandioso video, gracias por compartir
Wow, that's the first time I've seen Philip Rhee since the Best Of The Best Movies. I really enjoyed seeing him and his brother again ;O)
He was also in Lethal Weapon 4...he was the henchman that Riggs yanked out of the Mercedes during the car chase...then they have the little get together in the moving building where he eventually gets an up close view of a bus. Absolutely wonderful!!! Beautiful skills.
As an MMA guy..and a shodan under Kang Seok Lee in TKD and Hapkido..that was amazing.
Oh dear idiots edit.
The best of best 1& 2 some my favorite martial arts movies
Nothing but awesomeness and skill with the Rhee brothers👍
Ive always admired both Rhee brothers. AWMA is the only place I go for my martial arts gear.
We need to see Alex Grady as well :)
Feels great to see Tommy and Dae Han working together 👍
Nice it's great to see the old schoolers of the martial arts again
ITS A BIG HONOR CAN BE STUDENT OF RHEE BROTHERS
Gotta get this guy in a tv show or a movie to get some exposure.
Im a purple belt in bjj and I'm here to read stupid comments about how they won't last in the octagon or stupid shit like that .

It's awesome to see how one movie inspired so many people! Me being one of them.
Can only dream of being trained by both Rhees such great honor!!
This video definitely send chills thru the whole body.
The Rhee brother's still got it. That dude Fleder can move. I can see many a knee being snapped with those kicks he does.
Noah reminds me of Brandon Lee. He has the looks and the chops to make it in movies.
Amazing!!!! Now I am going to go watch Best of the best!!!! Love you guys!!!
The best of the best 👊
These two brothers and masters of Korean martial arts are simply fucking awesome!
I watched best of the best in the only movie theatre in london that was showing it. 16 years old and blown away at the time!! Bought the dvd to show my unborn son decades later if I couldn’t find it!? 🤷🏼♂️
Bring back Master Rhee to the big screen!!! 👊🙏

Their brothers!? Man I wish I could learn from them!
Best of the best, what a great film.
I’m glad the brothers are doing well and still training.
This makes me want to study TKD again.
I miss those two guys!!! Reboot best of the best!!!
This is the real combat taekwondo..taekwondo is not just a sport but a selfdefense art.
Ponce Arnel it’s not the traditional style he mixed punches in there since the TKD style focuses on kicks

The Amazing Rhee Brothers!
What's that... an exhibition, feeeell!
