This is a nice heli and easy to fly but not for a first time heli pilot. Perhaps for a newbie with the help of a more experienced heli pilot. The high head speed as well as the inability to stop her quickly due to momentum are concerns for a newb. Having said that, I have two so I agree it’s a nice model. Another thing you need to watch for is the optical flow sensor. Do not take off from reflective surfaces or surfaces where there is water. In those scenarios take off in manual mode and not in optical mode. Otherwise optical mode will get confused and suddenly drift and you will need to be fast enough to switch to manual to save it from a crash. I learned this the hard way - and I have been flying helis for years.

No it can’t. But you can use the radio supplied for the YX F09 on this model.
