Great tip for all you soap makers. Karen I had covid nearly a year ago a week after knee replacement surgery. I still have days were I am exhausted for no reason and days where I have no taste. Its completely random when it happens and can be really frustrating at times. Just keep doing what your body tells you to do . Don't over do things and get plenty of rest. Xx
I didn't think the cupcake looked bad to start with, I just thought it was like a 2 tone cream frosting on top. I had covid last August, and I'm still struggling now with tiredness, some days I feel like I haven't had any. And some weekends I end up staying in bed all day because I'm that exhausted

Thank you for sharing that tip. I had covid twice. I don't have my smell or taste back fully. It's scary because something was burning and I couldn't smell it. Glad I wasn't alone.
Like the idea of improving the cupcakes. Covid does take time to recover from the tiredness, my sister in law is still got the cough from a month ago.

Her Majesty mentioned while talking on the computer officially to some folks about Covid, how it leaves you so tired. Evidently it takes quite awhile to get your normal strength back. Oh, we fell in love with your Bacon Baps while over there in the UK. Delicious! I have had dry mouth after eating sandwiches here, though. Seems you get full of water and still thirsty. So I would start drinking one of those flavored waters that rehydrate you and then I was fine. That may be what you need, a specially made drink for rehydration.

Hi Karen, Very nice idea, it gives a good glow to the soap. Your cupcakes are so cute, they look good even with the light tan on top, cause you pipe the tops so nice. I hope you feel more energetic soon, probably the covid. I had it also, and it made me feel weak for awhile after. Speaking of snacks, my daughter was telling me about this popcorn, I've never had it, but she says its really good. Sounds funny lol, but you never know. It's called....Old Bay Seasoned Caramel Popcorn,... made by Fishers. I will have to try it sometime. The other day, I tried to pipe roses like yours, don't laugh..... I looked at them and thought, Hmmmm... they remind me of something, then I remembered your lily pad soap. I made lily pads. except they were purple. lol Oh well, maybe I can make a Magical Pond soap, with weird colors. My grandkids would like that. Hope you feel better soon.

Not as bad as my soap overheating the day before yesterday. It was black so I covered it with a wooden lid after applying a spray of alcohol, then stuck an elastic band either side to keep soda ash at bay. Both bands were snapped and I have a loaf of soap with a weird top and a big hole running through the centre. Looks like 💩 but will get you clean...smells nice too! Xx
Covid left me so , so tired 😪 and no energy at all for weeks afterwards..,

Love all your ideas Karen. That weird taste lingering, I had similar after salt and vinegar crisps. I had had 5 consecutive negative covid results, was fluey for several days and lost my sense of smell and taste for 4 weeks. I am guessing the lining of the inside of my mouth was affected in some way, maybe not replicating as quickly as it should and the saliva glands were not cleaning as effectively. X
Does it get on your hands when you wash them.

It didn’t look faded to me , I thought the color was intentional. 🤷🏽♀️I liked it but either way it’s beautiful 🙂❤
