This video will show you how to replace the light inside of your tow mirrors. This is applicable for 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 Ford F150 as well as 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 Ford F250 and F350 Superduty. The lights are offered with a smoked or clear lens. The switchback option has a white LED running light and amber LED turn signal, however we also offer an all amber version. The installation is easy and takes only a few minutes
These are drop in replacement marker lights for the 2015+ F150 new style Ford tow mirrors or 2017+ F250 or F350 Super Duty. There is a single color amber only version, as well as a switchback version where it will be a white running light and change to a flashing amber signal. They are offered with a smoked or clear lens, and are easy to install following our installation videos (links below).
Switchback (White/Amber) Light Operation:
Signal (No Running Light): Flashing Amber Signal (on front bar & side 2 LED's)
Running Light (No Signal): Solid White Strip Light (side 2 LED's not illuminated)
Running Light On & Signal Activated: Solid white strip light turns off during signal and amber light flashes until signal is complete. After signal is complete, white light illuminates again. (2 LED's on side only illuminate amber with signal)
Single Color (Amber) Light Operation:
Signal: Flashing Amber Signal on side 2 LED's (unless Boost Auto dual function harness is installed)
Running Light (No Signal): Sold Amber Strip Light (side 2 LED's not illuminated)
Running Light On & Signal Activated: Solid amber strip on front. 2 LED's on side flash with turn signal (unless Boost Auto dual function harness is installed)
These replace the factory lights which are part numbers FL3Z-13B375-CA & HC3Z-13B374-A & HC3Z-13B375-A & FL3Z-13B374-CA
Fitment: 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 Ford F-150 F150. 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 Ford F-250 F250 F-350 F350 Superduty Super Duty truck including powerstroke.

I ordered the clear lens set for my 2019 F350 after a mishap at the car wash cracked the passenger side lens. They arrived 4 days after I placed the order. I was a little nervous about swapping it out. However, after watching the install video a couple times, it was a breeze. Took me about 20 minutes and it looks and works great. perfect instructions..15 minutes all changed. to make it easier i popped out the puddle light and the sensor that made the back go oneasy then popped them back in

i bought aftermarket tow mirrors they don't have running lights. how can i add running lights because i would like to buy the switchback lights
You will need to add a wire through the mirror to gain the feature.

How bright are they? Do u use morimoto led strips?
so i installed these on my truck and now one of the power mirrors doesn't move and the other barely goes super slow and doesn't go down. what could i have done?

My truck has the 8 pin but I bought the 22 pin oem tow mirrors will these still work?
I did not receive the boost auto connector, can I just splice my wires into the lights?

On a 2019 Ford f250 do I need to install the signal and running light harness for the whole blinker strip to blink on these lights
Not if you choose the switchback option - our switchback lights have that functionality already built in.

I busted my passenger side stock mirror marker, is this a direct replacement or will the lights look different if i only replace one?
Our clear lights with amber LED's appear similar to Ford lights, however they do not say FORD on the inside. We always recommend replacing in pairs to ensure a uniformed appearance.
I have the spotlights so this kit is a no go

I have a 2004 truck with tow mirrors that lights are made to be like the new 17 lights but shaped like the full square of the 2016. Will these lights work

I have the same but not sure who made them. Any idea what brand yours are? I am thinking about getting different led units given the running lights are more of a reddish orange than an amber. They also don't flash when the turn signal is activated they just go off and come back on not in conjunction to the regular front and rear blinker lights. The spot lights do work though.

What if I have eight pin small mirrors and I ordered tow mirrors from boost auto parts with signal only? Will I have to run a wire through the mirrors for the running light?
No - signal only mirrors are always plug and play.

@@raptorrider24 Correct - and only if doing signal & running light or switchback. If doing signal only there's no need to do that as the mirrors wouldn't have the running light feature.
Do these have the OEM spotlight available as well?
These are offered with optional spotlights for those vehicles originally equipped with the spotlight feature.

Yes!
Why not white at all times?
Ford wires the mirrors as parking lights, not constantly hot so we are at the mercy of how they wire it.

Is it safe just pulling the top mirror off like that? Seen another video he used a screwdriver to pop clips loose to remove it?
You should be able to remove the top glass the way the video shows. If you would prefer, you can use a screwdriver similar to how we show removing the lower glass.

I just broke both top and bottom mirrors on passenger side using a screw driver. Any tricks or suggestions to help me not break the mirror again? My hands aren't very strong. Is the key to push up and then out instead of just pulling out like I originally did? Would it be safer to remove mirror from door first or not a good idea? Lastly the temperature in Minnesota is mid 30's is that too cold? Suggestions and/tips will be greatly appreciated. I certainly don't want to buy another set of mirrors for the other mirror.

Spot light will work on trucks originally equipped with spot light.
Boost Auto Parts is there a separate spot light inside for the spot light function? Or does it just illuminate the two white led strips?
