Every time I see a video from FAIR I find the arguments presented to be both logically unassailable and deeply compassionate. I'm always shocked by how few views that these videos get.
YT heavily promotes very shallowly identity-focused videos presenting a very positive but almost culturally hegemonic if not pro-separatist vision of by and for certain groups. What are the odds a random person interested in these broader questions of how to preserve and respect our common humanity amid these identity obsessions would ever see a video from FAIR? They’re virtually all very thoughtful, insightful, nicely presented, deeply humane explorations of such questions. But they aren’t full of controversial rants or titillating images, so they don’t go viral. And, as benign as they are, something tells me they go against the cultural fashion just enough that they end up buried.
@@evan5604 yep, it's all about who the gatekeepers are. They are going to tend to give more visibility to videos that they agree with politically/socially/etc., and downplay videos that go against that ideology. That ideology is based heavily on the identity politics of Gen-Z and younger Millennials that has to some degree captured much of the tech sector. So of course these types of videos are looked on disparagingly by those holding such views.
So if I were to present "logically unassailable" arguments that a person of prominence on FAIR's board of advisors egregiously violated his "Pro-Human Pledge" to blindly defend his hero - you would objectively consider those arguments? And since I predicted that "voice of reason" would outright reject it to protect his hero - how do you think my prediction would pan out for his fellow advisors who worship the same professional know-it-all? I’m not out to ruin these people or that organization, quite the contrary. Raising the bar will make them better - lowering it makes them worse. By the way, that "voice of reason" once called my writing “brilliant” and was “blown away” by my site and signed up. That’s a helluva lot of incentive for me to think these people are the “geniuses” their ever-growing audience thinks they are. I don’t roll that way. While I maintain a degree of respect for him - and I’m forever grateful for the inspiration he provided: If you’re part of the problem, I don’t care who you are - I’m calling you out: And that's FAIR! . . .
@@rickmemmer5625 You seem to be having a lot of trouble trying to make your point, let me see if I can help you. It sounds like you are asserting that one of the board members of FAIR is in some way falling short of living the values they espouse; and you want to know if that would change my view of FAIR? The answer is no. My support of these values isn't based on any kind of hero worship of cult of personality for any of the people involved. The logic of the values and positions being stated here are (by and large) self evident. They would be true if the worst person in the history was saying them. It sounds like your beef is overwhelmingly personal, but if you feel compelled to tell me what the issue you have with this (as yet nameless) board member, I suppose you can do so; so long as it's not a thinly veiled plug for your website.
Thank you for sharing your story of compassion. Humans are complex but I believe most are good and have compassion. I keep forgetting to watch these videos. They are so well done. We should all start our day with one viewing.
What worries me now is that gender ideology has gotten into the schools. And yes, in some states it's illegal to counsel non-gender affirming therapies even when they're indicated.
As good as this is we still have a basic matter of cause and effect confusion where this is about the effect and not so much the cause. Medically and scientifically speaking there is absolutely no such thing as race and color has no meaning. It is not so much about what people believe but about what we do with what people believe. In this instance we talk about the "socially constructed notion of race and color" but we do nothing to falsify that social construct.
Excellent video. I clicked the like button but my "like" seems to disappear when I leave this video and then come back to it. I wonder if UA-cam is up to its shadow-banning shenanigans again. I've seen them manipulate "likes" in real time. Maybe time to switch to Rumble? Or am I missing something?
FAIR is amazing 🔥🔥that dude you treated may have done time, and had that tattoo from years ago. Imagine kids now growing up on DEI becoming doctors and have that same experience 🙀
I'm confused, how do you treat someone as an individual without acknowledging who they are & where they come from? Since when is having an identity a bad thing?

@@notnotkevinjohn You had 60 seconds to show me you’re worth my time. Time’s up. Good day.
You are a compassionate and brave woman, Dr. Mendoza.
Well done, Carrie. You make us proud! Keep it up.
Love who you are and thank you for your kindness

I really wish these videos had more likes and exposure in general.
