I store stuff like this and bought a sample, drum and modula, with a mixer and a frame for them all, now I have a mountain to climb!
You will pick it up in no time! Great learning instruments ...
Just stumbled across this. Epic!
Cheers RME, appreciated
im impressed!!!! I study but that's not easy with this synths
thank you for sharing ...
motivats me to don't stop
Glad to hear that! Michel, they are certainly easy synths to create on
That was an impressive Reich section right there! Bravo!
Indeed! I always tend to end up in that territory somehow :) Cheers mDK
Just bought a zoom ms70 for my volca bass, beats, & keys rack and subscribed to your channel. Very inspirational. Thank you. You may have broken my period of music making inactivity! 😊
Awesome! Thank you! Cemegonuts! Yes the MS70 is a great little multi FX for volcas for sure ... will check out your channel for your latest!
Very nice session.
Glad you liked it! KBB!
Just insane how much you get out of these 4 boxes in one hour! I loved it.
I just bought a few Volcas for cheap and can only hope to make something musically pleasing.
Cheers RR - yes definitely a great step into dawless improvising!
me llego al corazón, una pieza maestra todo tu arte. gracias!
Cheers Pedro
Very nice. Can you recommend a little mixer? Maybe you know one with the possibility to mute the channels? :-)
Cheers m4nuz - for my Volca's I now use some powerbank USB powered Moukey mixers I have three 6 channel and one 8 channel, they are switchable to mono or stereo (as the Volca Drum for example is stereo out vs the rest being mono) ... I personally don't mute the overall output of volcas, just mute the parts on the instrument itself... but the old volca mix has mutes and of course most of the budget friendly Behringers if portability isn't an issue
Wow. Totally inspiring, Gary. Incredibly creative and fun to listen to. Puts me in a peaceful place. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it Ken - comment appreciated!
love the polyrhythms
Thanks KK888 - yes always love the cross rhythmic fun of polymeters, sometimes you just stumble into it :)
Amazing Man! Thank you..
You're welcome! Massappeal
This is absolutely fantastic! wow
cheers ash!
Very nice👌
Thanks a lot SM!
glad to have found your channel, you are very talented.
Thanks v much Tony, happy to have you on-board!
I listen to a lot of music from BURG and your jam reminds me very much of its sound, very, very good! This shows that you don't have to spend 5000 € on a synth setup!
Thansk Hugh - will have to check BURG out, don't think I have heard of them!
@@GaryHayes oh yeah, you have to ! Hes an one man project, his channel is called ollilaboratories
@@hughman8597 ah yes I have seen a couple of times recently
@@GaryHayes He is my greatest hero when it comes to synthetic music
@@GaryHayes where's the daws you said you had running with it is that through a computer or just the volcas? Sounds good though!
Amazing!
Thank you! Cheers! Kontrabass!

Really awesome!
Thank you! Cheers! trikOsk
Clearly personalized advertizing, browser data collection and UA-cam activity tracing brought me here - but it brought you a subscriber! Love what you do and these three Volcas (all except for the bass) are on my wishlist! 😁
What I noticed is that the Drums seems not to have a lot of bass frequencies. Was that set like this on purpose?
Well personalizemedia is a blog I have run since 2006 and exactly what brought you here indeed :) WM ... yes the volcas are gr8 little machines when you spend time with them.
Yes on this recording the low end is not as strong, probably just a rushed edit and not decent audio mastering - I have many other videos with the Volca Drum with a bigger bass ... I think this one has ua-cam.com/video/0_ofzSRg4NA/v-deo.html
Gary P Hayes I really appreciate that my comments aren‘t going into nowhere here! 😉 Thanks for the link! But then you used a Volca Kick there instead of a Drums, right?
Gary P Hayes This one has nice bass 😁 Awesome vid, though slightly ominous considering the fires... ua-cam.com/video/NfQhc_VsTGk/v-deo.html
Cool Jam! What is your favorite Volca? The Modular one, look to be very hypnotic
Good question, I think the Keys has a great sound for such a little box, but modular is nice but I tend to use it more as a sequential vs sound design box.
Loving this! @16:52... just no! Almost tempted to send you a keystep 😂
Haha thanks - I have two lovely black keysteps, the point of this is to be totally portable and position this setup on a rock or tree stump, vs trying to setup keyboards etc ... was going to do this piece at a local waterfall this morning but it was p*%&ing down all day :)
@@GaryHayes that would have been epic! I would take a Keytar 🤘
@MuradaI just get SO frustrated with my clumsy fingers - I need some tactile feedback. I don't know how y'all do it!
hey i love your videos! what camera(s) do you use for video recording?
Thanks v much Hunter - here just a GoPro 5 and 7, easy to sync them in Final Cut afterwards with the Zoom H6 recording
великолепно!
Cheers Serge! or should I say огромное спасибо :)
🥳.
cheers
Really like it - pretty close to my setup tho 🙂
Yes I copy everything you do? :)
@@GaryHayes sorry for my bad grammar - I meant more like amazing what you can get out of that equipment which is basically the same as mine XD
Appreciate your music!
