1:42 - when Webb says 'There's a great new play on at the National, actually' and Mitchell kicks him in the bollocks, I launched a mouthful of noodles at my fucking screen. I'd wish people would be more considerate in titling their video, a warning that this is fucking funny would have helped.
Yeah but it's more like the short note Prince George was dictating for Blackadder to read to the Ms. Amy, where he said "Tally ho my fine saucy young trollop, trip along here with all your cash and some naughty night attire, and you'll be staring at my ceiling from now till Christmas you lucky tart..." Blackadder's facial expression was hilarious 😂
"No offense, but in a party situation you seem about as relaxed and friendly as a serial killer doing a police interview while still wearing his last victim's skin. Don't worry it's totally normal. It doesn't make you the sort of freaky long-fingernailed loner who gets arrested in Sainsbury's for stroking the bread. Being shit with people is just a minor disability that you share with everyone who isn't Alan Carr or Topcat."
@@waynemarvin5661 why are you been a complete dick about it I like it that's all I'm trying to say it's brilliant and alot of people slept on it that's what I'm trying to say
@TheGooners11 the only peeps that do not want a cashless society are people that twist the system... employers that pay cash in hand would be annoyed because they will now have to pay a fair wage, or if they did pay a fair wage the employees would be annoyed cause now they would have to pay tax, drug dealers would be annoyed because money can't be transferred in secrecy and eventually there would be questions regarding their accounts as they see multiple different people paying into the same account. Though regardless more people pay cashless every year so eventually it will just become the norm without a law.
@Fur Q the "powers " which be? Hmmmm I'm deeply fascinated. What powers do they have? Sorry you just sound a bit vague. Can you break it down a bit for me please.
@Michael William Dale Francis I'll like if I can get a hint. I mean, that's a LOT of soundtrack to go through; it never used to be, but it is now. Iron Man?
Reminds of a classic Onion article, "Mouthwash Company Invents and Cures Halitosis". It's especially funny given that, if the "hygiene hypothesis" is correct (and it seems to be), the lack of exposure to benign microbes in youth is giving rise to a massive increase in deadly or disabling allergies in adulthood.
Gosh the first sketch is brilliant!
Yes! Absolutely amazing!! 👍👏
You realize it's not original, don't you? Steve Martin and Daryl Hannah were in the movie
Most of them are pretty good
@@zapkvr The fact that it's an homage to the play doesn't make it less brilliant.
@@zapkvr it's basically a homage/parody of that - the parts that are original makes it brilliant, not the premise.
"Allez allez mon brave, ze pigeon it is nearly in ze pot!" 🤣
The first sketch with David as Cyrano was amazing. I think the sizable proboscis suits him well.
Yes it makes his face look strangely normal
The girl was quality too,
Oi you cheeky barstard !!😂😂
That Bergerac sketch was _marvelous_
Holy fuck yes!

Adrian has just eight minutes to come up with his arbitrary deadline!
OMG Thank you Mitchell and Webb for the "People skills" sketch.
Oh shit it's finally happened to me, I found I comment I want to like but it's at 69 likes!
"If your children get dirt on them, they'll EXPLODE!!! (PROBABLY)" Hilarious!
The first sketch is the opposite of the scene from Blackadder the Third when George is wooing Amy with Blackadder's help
Yeah but it's more like the short note Prince George was dictating for Blackadder to read to the Ms. Amy, where he said "Tally ho my fine saucy young trollop, trip along here with all your cash and some naughty night attire, and you'll be staring at my ceiling from now till Christmas you lucky tart..." Its a play on cyrano de bergerac which is what blackadder was parodying

Top Cat was Arnold Stang. He was modelled on Sgt Bilko
Thats some witty writing
@@zapkvr oh I always thought Top Cat was Seargent Bilko.
@@simonpentwynTop Cat was voiced by Arnold Stang
This is some of the most intelligent comedy you will ever see.
3:56 A year ago, almost no one would have recognized that as coronavirus.
Well spotted
110%? No, that's impossible. Thank you Mitchell & Webb.
First sketch works every time.
The first sketch is so true
This whole episode was completely brilliant!
Former top TV executives...now working at ITV
I say again this show is so underrated
Underrated by who? It was on for years. I know it should be whom, but I have to write it so "Enlightened Nomad" would understand.
@@waynemarvin5661 why are you been a complete dick about it I like it that's all I'm trying to say it's brilliant and alot of people slept on it that's what I'm trying to say
Hardly underrated. It was highly rated by viewers and critics alike!
Cleanlinol - a product for the 2020's world

The first skit had me howling 😂😂
Because you love it
I love how M&W seem to be obsessed with Top Cat. XD
And Arnold Stang was never in another cartoon. You know it was based on Ernie Bilko
I'm not english but this show is just hilarious , too funny
And, yet, you're not English.
gem85precious! Thank you for uploading!!!
thanks for uploading!
i work with a woman that has robert's same "people" skills. 4:45-6:18
Love the People Skills Sketch
This was a really good episode 😂
"You need it...! You ugly cow...!" 🤣🤣🤣
I grew up with girls like Debbie in paisley . It was awesome .
Couldn't go past a Paisley post. Used to drink in the Old Swan when on working holiday there from Australia around '93. Great place!
I'm not even from Paisley and i know girls like Debbie too. A lot of them actually...i think i should change my taste in women. 😁
@@Eisenwulf666or change your tongue
Where do you find these women?? I’ve been looking around for ages
It’s a bold choice to underscore the opening of your sketch comedy show with THE SOUNDTRACK OF A FRIGGIN’ SUPERHERO MOVIE.
@Michael William Dale Francis I'll like if I can get a hint. I mean, that's a LOT of soundtrack to go through; it never used to be, but it is now. Iron Man?
Underscore?
This is so on point
Woohoo! Cyrano de Mtichell!
While this didn't happen to me, I'm sure i have Mark's character is actually the voice in my head.
cry! go on! please!
"Oh that's just sexist." LOL
fishmonger out of watermonger
I loved the first sketch. That Frenchman really knows how to chat up a complete bitch!
You're a lifesaver, I just made the discovery that it isn't on BBC iplayer for very long, so missed this episode!
Aw man, does that Cleanlinol work on coronavirus? I'd like to get my hands on some... and some on my hands...
Brilliant!
7:13 ohhhh sarah hadland, that is such a hot look ! among all her other hot looks !
Looks like a dominatrix. I agree lol
The first scene his accent gives me major monty python and the holy grail vibes 😂
"Information correct at time of Ye Convention Sfientific, Wiesenberg, 1712."
That slap at the end 😂
Thanks.
Love it 👍👍👍
at 5:02 i thought robert was about to say "....but it's not exactly brain surgery."
oooh, and thank you for uploading! (:
Is that the same front door to Michaels house from Alan Partridge? The spot where he offered Alan a cup of beans with a sausage for a spoon.
You’d think David would have learnt from his own lines and become a better puller. That IS how to do it,
I mean, he's married to Victoria Coren-Mitchell...
Yeah, how much better is he supposed to do
@thatfriggingbathroom2656 shes a bit of a porker
Cleanlinol? *start calling his stockbroker*
That first sketch- the advice would definitely work!
This show gets better with every series.
Brilliant
BBC HD in 240p lol (don't worry, it doesn't bother me)
At 9:37, I nearly spat my tea all over my desk...
I love M&W.
That first sketch is a gold nugget
Eleanor enjoyed watching - especially the last 'reality TV ' sketch... But there's a problem: there's no problem.🙂
First sketch, sad but true
6:19 best ever
Genius 😂😂😂
first sketch XD
@Blackpanfa Cyrano de South London!
wonder if this got recc’d to me cuz people are watching this after Cyrano
3:55 Corona!
Cleanlinol 2020-2021
Cleanlinol seems like it'd be a real product these days
Adric reference was a bit obscure (by then). Wonder if many people got it.
The only Adric I know was in Doctor Who.
@David Clinging Whoops! It's in the next part (2/3). 2.36 approx.
Pwooor at the secretary get up!!
is it bad that i find that debbie woman quite attractive?
I would say that more than 100 percent is possible, just depends on what your talking about
“Alright but your paying”
What's the music @ 8:50??
doves- firesuite.
@rabidcock ...who was not french?
I love East Enders
The music at 7:30 is the same as The Gift Shop Sketch
Why did I feel the need to post this 11 months ago
This was great.....but there's a problem.....
9:01 a joke that can never land again..
That first sketch was definitely based on someones neighbours :D
It was based on cyrano de bergerac
Isn´t almost everyone someones neighbour?
Theae 2 are the best so so Funny 😃 .
@neilss1 I think she's actually in her 40's. And no, she's gorgeous! :)
7:00 they really like to use that Doves song i've heard it like two times before
Bahahahaha Godlinol
3:41 COVID life …
Brilliant 👏.

Did that ending inspire Will Smith?
Kind of makes me feel like eating Cheese.
Fishmonger out of watermonger LOL
@neilss1 Not at all :P
oh wow... people person
That nose is almost as pointy as my dad's
That girl is so English, but it makes no difference, definitely like the English variaty.
They just took this show off Netflix UK.
Bastard
The last sketch was, “meh.”
5:40 The name thing. I worked with a guy who did the name thing.
This sums it up in a way I never could. It's a bit rapey.
Lord, the laugh track kills this otherwise brilliant piece.
That cleanlinol sketch nailed how totally superstitious some people have become about filth. Miasma indeed. Brilliant.
