    I knew that this actors pain on SNOWFALL was too damn believable. Damn he’s been through it, he’s a chosen one. I hope he feels this way also. He has survived what some cannot fathom and rose. May he continue his journey of healing.

      Sometimes you have to leave your family and friends....find new friends. Find a new neighborhood. He also needed psychological help and a sober counselor. He was playing roles of druggies, almost true to life.

    I was in prison with this guy and he gave me his tennis shoes because I was walking in shower shoes. I'd never forget that. Purple and white Barkley size 10 🙏🏾 p.s he didn't do a full 10 years.

    His character "Stacy" , was awesome. He is a great actor , I of course loved him in "Tales from the Hood ", I was terrified and his performance definitely solidified a fun and cool point in my young life. I'm so happy he was able to get his life together , I wish him continued success and hope to see him in future projects .

    Crazy of how and what life throws at you. He is a very strong man. I remember watching his movies as a child and Lockdown wasn't my favorite either. Throughout the years, I wondered what happened to him and now I know. Hopefully, he will keep going and get the life he truly deserves. He's a really good actor.

    Wow I didn't realize he was gone from the acting scene I'm so glad he's back! This system shouldn't gave him anytime in jail especially with all the witnesses who saw what happened!       He killed a guy over a confrontation that got him beat up & he went back with a knife.
      he still had to serve jail time for that, lucky he didnt get more time. and the “rest” that you talk of are usually rich people who pay big cash to reduce their sentences. If it would of been a regular white person they still would of served time like him

    I remember him on "Get On The Bus". Crazy how so many actors from Cali end up in a bad way. Like the guy from "Boyz And The Hood", he shot Ricky at the end. The story I read of what happened to him was bad. As a matter of fact a lot of the actors in Boyz And The Hood got murdered. I look back at my childhood and it's depressing. I said to my mom one day, "that's not fair", her reply was the most truest of anything she said, "life ain't fair".

      We don't know that tho. The narrator said he got into an altercation with the boyfriend. No one ever said he was defending anyone at the beginning of said altercation. Who knows if the victim truly was an a**hole? But it's hard to beat a case of killing someone inside their house!

    His role in Imperial dreams was great, he plays the uncle who is a gang member that has gotten tired of living the life he lives trying to put sense into his nephew who’s the main character, I felt like he was talkin about himself, movies on Netflix I believe still

    I had no idea. He's a true soldier and survivor. It's a dam shame that we a a people that have struggled through so much over so many years centuries even, continue to hand down broken foundation's to pur children putting through this type of insanity.     Yea damn man I didn't know all that happened to the Homie man!? He is a real soldier and a prolific talent. I can see the pain in his eyes now and know a little of where it comes from. I hate to our brothers go through shit like that, but I'm glad he is tough enough to survive such turmoil.

    I grew up with D.B. I left L.A in 94 and moved to Tx. I had no idea my guy had these hardships, he really is a good dude, I was happy to see him on snowfall! Glad he turned it around!💯💯

    I used too see him walking through north Inglewood when I lived on Victor Ave in NHP hood. Bro was cool and friendly. I never knew he turned killer, went to jail. Etc. Back in 2014

    Once you've done time,
    it can be real-real hard
    to just adjust let alone
    'make it'. There can be
    a whole lot of anger. Surviving inside puts your head in a different place.
    It can really be hard to even get a job (discrimination) but keeping it can be a lot harder.
    The system should care as much about getting cons back into the community as much as busting them out of it.
