Aveda products has always been a line for all textures its just high end. I’m a stylist that use them in my salon and i get great results. There pomade works good as well. If price is an issue the have afterpay where you can pay installments.
I used the Aveda nutri-plenish system on my dreadlocks after coloring them and having dried out hair. After using the system, my hair is super healthy, soft shine and moisturized. It's so healthy, even after multiple box dye treatments. The stuff is super expensive but it works better than any product line I have used. It's basically an intense treatment for hair to keep it healthy. The nutri-plenish line does not sit on the hair, but actually transforms it. It also smells soooo good. I know it's not a black-owned product but I am glad that they have a super luxury line that black people can use and get consistently luxurious results. Thanks for covering this product. I use the Juicy Roots products (black-owned) in between my aveda treatments to save some cash in between washes. Also, the leave-in conditioner is good for moisture before adding that $45 hair oil (which I do love). All said, I only by these products when they are on sale at Aveda.
I really like this product line...but unfortunately due to my allergies and sensitive skin I had to stop using them. I agree, I'm willing to pay extra for luxury products if they work good.
I use "white" products from the drugstore and black-owned products all the time, and I haven't noticed much of a difference between a good product from a white-owned brand vs a good product from a back owned brand. I have experienced wonderful products from both and I have experienced horrible products from both. I prefer to support black-owned companies overall though.
I cannot believe I spent over $150 on these products but I've tried a lot of stuff.. wow... I'm in now for a few months... I agree ... I have that 4C that wants to cling like moss but no ma'm.. that curl pattern was elongated at shampoo and actually hair was hydrated for about 3 days... so I will get back to you... It's a big spend but over time I spent on hair products .Thank you for your review.
Aveda products are excellent! I have been using them since the late 90s. There are Aveda concept salons and spas in larger cities. I have been natural since 2004, so yes Black Americans purchase their products. Their products are worth the money...a little goes a long way! Also I rotate my products as to what my hair needs. Currently using the Botanical Repair and Damage Remedy lines. Side note...their body polish and moisturizer is great, too! Pronounced a-váy-duh" .
Hi Natural Boss!!! Great review and very true curlbox need to put black owned products in the box.. Try curldaze hair care line It's Brand New... have a blessed day and Stay Safe

That's the same with me. I just want products that work and I've experienced good and bad from both. I do prefer to support black owned though.
That is a fantastic idea to put black owned brands in Curlbox. They would even get more subscribers that way as well.
Yep!!!
A-Vay-da. That’s a good price for Aveda. They are considered high end. They even have a hair school.
Oh that's how it's pronounced...lol
The name is short for Ayurveda, a natural, holistic system of medicine and wellness practices that originated in India

Thank you for the review. I am considering the products. Do you have 4c hair texture?
You're welcome! No my hair is actually 4a.
Don’t sleep on Avefda yeah it’s white owned but they’re products are professional and they work on all types they even have their own beauty school.
Yeah I actually ended up loving the products but had to stop using them because I'm allergic to the fragrance 😒
Great review but where is your plastic cap from? I can't find ones big enough to go all the way around my hair.
I can't even remember where I got them and yes I have to get the really big ones too. When I find out I'll let you know.
@@NaturalBoss Thanks so much boo!
I would get the curl box if they had our products in them. Great video
Totally understand...
The conditioner has a little Isopropyl Alcohol in it. Did it feel dry after a few days?
No I didn't feel any dryness..it really turned out to be a great conditioner.
Hi Toni👋🏾, Thanks for sharing 🌹 The products sound like they're good. Though, a bit pricey 😊 I may try them eventually.🤗

I've seen a few videos on curldaze...might have to check it out.
I got this curlbox and didn’t even try to use it or review it. I wasn’t phased. I’m thinking of canceling my subscription
I've been going back and forth on whether or not to cancel. I'll probably see what's up in the next 2 months. Smh
@@NaturalBoss try Garnier
Have you tried Coils of Nature?
I didn't purchase the oil.
What protein treatment do you use?
