Eamon, we are all rooting for you! Rhys, please tell Eamon that there's a middle aged woman with three cats in America who really wants him to be happy and enjoy his journey, wherever it takes him. And, Rhys, I'm looking forward to seeing you compete again.
That form is🔥🔥Rhys your swing keeps getting better, you are giving me Kristian Berki vibes. Smart and don't worry if the world cups are not perfect, you want to peak for the games!
Thank you, Rhys. It's good to hear from you. That fall was heartbreaking, but glad to see him carry on. Good luck with your training and competitions later.😊
I want to give Eamon hugs...but considering I scared the shit out of both of you in Liverpool screaming in the middle of the plaza, maybe not a good idea. Lots of love to both of you.
Thanks for the update video. I'm a little confused though...at first it seemed that Eamond just had a less than successful floor exercise, but then you talked about him retiring from gymnastics. Was he injured in that fall? Did this one less-than-perfect performance rule out any hope of competing in the Olympics? (that can't be true...can it?)....anyway, thanks again and good luck to you both.
He needed to make the floor final at this World Cup to gain points to qualify to the Olympics. There are four World Cup series and the 3 best scores out of the 4 get counted. Since he didn’t make the finals at Cairo, he needed to make it here to get the points he missed out on. Him not making the final kind of ended that opportunity to qualify through the World Cup series. I wish him luck in his training, and maybe one day #la2028
Gutted for Eamon and totally impressed by his perseverance.

Man. That is just just rough. I am crushed for him. I am so impressed at his attitude though. That takes so much maturity to do that

Your so good ❤🎉
When you’re training with the other international gymnasts, how do you all get around the language differences?
Was that his last chance to qualify?

As far as i know he would have needed to be one of the top two athletes in this world cup series leading up to the Olympics this summer.

@@kevinaranda4442Thanks very much for explaining that Kevin. Now I understand how serious and disappointing to him this was.
